- Created by SENDA in 2014 and then transferred its coordination to the Undersecretary of the Interior.
- All institutions with responsibility for drug control and demand(police, prosecutor's office, health and internal affairs government institutions) are part of it.
- Gathers information to justify incorporating NPS into the regulations.
- Makes one report a year. In 2017 we have been working on Report # 3 (delivery date: Dec 2017).
- Since 2015, more than 100 NPS have been incorporated into regulations.

- i) Background (includes information on the appearance of thesubstance, international picture, situation in Chile)
- ii) Chemical Classification, Synthesis and / or Acquisition
- iii) Pharmacological Effects and Other
- iv) Regulatory Status
- v) Final considerations (Public Safety, Public Health, Recommendation).

Criterion N ° 1: Substances seized in national territory, not yet studied by the NPS Board
- Police seize substance and in coordination with the National Prosecutor's Office send to ISP (laboratory) for confirmation.
- ISP, in coordination with the Office of the National Public Prosecutor, in charge of confirming the appearance of the substance.
- Undersecretary of the Interior, in coordination with the National Office of the National Public Prosecutor, informs the members of the Board of the appearance of substance.

- Insumed from different sources of information (Fonodrogas, Health Services (PHC) and Previenes).
- Online system that has the purpose of informing health professionals, public services (MINSAL, SENDA, others) and the Board about the consumption of NPS.
- Currently in test with professionals of SENDA FonoDrogas.
- In a later phase, implement it with professionals from PHC and Previenes.
