The experiential basis of Maharishi Consciousness BasedSystem of Education is the technology of consciousness-theTranscendental Meditation program (TM). The TMtechnique is a simple, natural, effortless technique that iseasily learned by anyone and is practiced for 15-20 minutestwice a day, sitting comfortably with the eyes closed. It is nota religion or philosophy. It does not involve moral training,belief, or worship. Students at M.I.M. come from all walks oflife. During the Transcendental Meditation technique, themind settles down to the simplest form of awareness,Transcendental Consciousness, the Se lf, whereconsciousness is open to itself alone. The experience ofprofound mental and physical relaxation in the TM practiceeliminates deep-rooted stresses and fatigue and bringsabout the holistic development of mind, body andemotions. The result is the increasing ability to achievesuccess and satisfaction - in all fields of life without strain.More than six million people of all ages, professions, andreligions have learned the Transcendental Meditationtechnique throughout the world. All students of the Management program are instructed inTranscendental Meditation upon enrolment and, after a fewmonths of practice, learn the TM-Sidhi program, includingYogic Flying, which accelerates the growth of higher statesof consciousness.

MIM has been channelizing all its efforts and resources toaccomplish its objectives through thefollowing activities.

The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) ofMIM, Noida offers Dual specialization (in industry orientedareas like Banking & Finance, International Business, H.R.,Marketing, Insurance and Retail) – is a totally innovativeprogram, aimed at meeting the basic needs of modernorganizations, which are knowledge-based, and info-intensive. The program offers the students complete insightinto the contemporary developments in each subject. Thesectional program is of six trimesters duration and as aparticipant in MIM's PGDM program you will:

Develop a professional level of presentations, writingand skills of articulation.

Acquire a managerial education that will influence yourthinking and achievements throughout your life, learnethical and moral values and pro-active attitudes forsociety's well being.

The M.B.A. course aims at providing inputs to the studentsrelevant to the business, industry and trade so that they canfunction in different organizations and face the challengesarising there from. The course not only aims at providingknowledge and skills in different areas of management, butalso provides inputs necessary for the overall developmentof the personality of the students. The structure of theCourse is designed in a way that students have to study thecore courses from different functional areas ofmanagement that are made compulsory. Later on,specializations are offered in functional areas where thestudents can opt for two specializations out of the fiveoffered:

Marketing, Finance, IT, HR and International Business andone Open Specialization, Right from the beginning of thecourse, the focus is on providing relevant inputs throughcase discussion/ analysis, simulation games, note plays etc.keeping in mind thecurrent business scenario.

Broadly, the course is of two years divided into foursemesters, each semester having eight compulsory papersof 40 sessions each of one-hour duration. There is a systemof dual specialization and an Open Specialization. Thestudents will have to opt for two functional areas for theirspecialization, having four papers (two in third semesterand two in the fourth semester) from Specialization 1, threepapers (two in third semester and one in fourth semester)from Specialization 2. Students will also have to choose anyone elective from the given four subjects as an openSpecialization in fourth semester.

Summer Training for 6/8 weeks is compulsory for everystudent pursuing the course, which they have to undergobetween second and third semester. Comprehensive vivaand Research project are part of the course.

The teaching methodology adopted by MIM is speciallydesigned to provide students with deep conceptual insightsand understanding of the practical areas and application.The primary emphasis is on self-study, intense class roomdiscussions, case studies, quizzes, term papers, summerinternship, mid-term and final examinations, project work-ensuring a judicious blend of theory and practice. The use ofcase studies helps students to develop skills necessary tomanage real life situations. The PGDM/M.B.A. course aimsat providing inputs to the students relevant to the business,industry and trade so that they can function in differentorganizations and face the challenges arising there from.The course not only aims at providing knowledge and skillsin different areas of management, but also provides skillsnecessary for the overall development of the personality ofthestudents.

Tremendous emphasis is laid towards developing thepersonality of students. From the time a students enters thecampus the Institute's faculty conducts workshops,extensive sessions to hone theskills of each student.

Understanding the specific requirement of corporate, amandatory workshop in personality development has beenintroduced in the curriculum. Students must have passed three year degree programmefrom a recognized university in any discipline with 50 %aggregate marks. Candidates appearing in the final year ofbachelor's degree are also eligible for the admission subjectto provide all certificates after passed from the recognizeduniversity. They should also have appeared in any of thequalifying exams of all India Management Competition vizCAT/MAT/XAT ect.

Admission is through MTU Entrance Examination (UPSEE)followed by counseling at various centres conducted byMahamaya Technical University, Noida.

The fees include tuition fee, Lecture notes, use of library,computer, Internet facilities etc. Fees once paid will not berefunded. Thestructure is as follow:
