About Maharashtra Science Talent Search Exam (MSTSE)

A Total of 600 Students (200 Students each from FIITJEE Mumbai, Nagpur and Pune Centres i.e. 50 Students each for Class

VIII, IX, X & XI) will be selected through MSTSE - 2021 Exam.

20% of the seats will be reserved for Students studying in Marathi Medium Schools.

600 meritorious Students will get a Certificate of Achievement. In addition to this, Top 3 Students in each segment will also

get online doubt removal support to help them in their preparation, even without joining FIITJEE Program.

To further support these 600 meritorious Students, FIITJEE has decided to give up to 100% Fee waiver on Tuition Fee

& up to 100% Hostel Fee Concession (wherever available) for FIITJEE Classroom / Integrated School Programs. For more

Situation 1 : Student who has lost both parents due to COVID-19 after March 2020 or lost the only parent (other parent had earlier expired or in case of single parent)

Following benefits / concessions will be given to the student:

1. 100% fee waiver on all FIITJEE fees, Megacosm fees, myPAT fees.

2. One-time Rs. 5,000 Administration Fee to be paid by the student at the time of admission.

3. However, Student will be required to have the Tab as specified by the Company, while the implementation charges excluding MDM fee shall be waived off.

Situation 2 : Student who has lost one parent who was the only earning member, but another parent is still alive.


1. Only Admission fee to be paid at the time of Admission (as per defined process).

2. 100% fee waiver on all the other fee heads of FIITJEE fees, Megacosm fees, myPAT fees.

3. However, Student will be required to have the Tab as specified by the Company, while the implementation charges excluding MDM fee shall be waived off.

Situation 3 : Student who has lost one parent who was an earning member, but the other parent is still alive and is also earning.


1. 100% waiver on Tuition fee of FIITJEE only.

2. All other fee is to be paid as per rule.

3. However, Student will be required to have the Tab as specified by the Company and pay for the implementation charges including MDM fee.

Situation 4 : Student who has lost one parent who was not earning.


1. 35% wavier on Tuition fees of FIITJEE only.

2. All other fee is to be paid as per rule.

3. However, Student will be required to have the Tab as specified by the Company and pay for the implementation charges including MDM fee.

Note 1 : To be eligible to receive this COVID Scholarship, the student must qualify our admission test as per the current process or seek direct admission based on past performance in competitive exams as per the current admission process of the Company. In case of fresh student appearing in the Admission Test, Registration Fee will be refunded for Situation 1 & 2 students at the time of enrolment.

Note 1 : A Total of 600 Students i.e. 200 Students each for FIITJEE Centres in FIITJEE Mumbai (Mumbai Suburban, Thane, Navi Mumbai), Nagpur & Pune Centres (50 Students each for Class VIII, IX, X & XI) will be selected through MSTSE - 2021 Exam. This is subject to Students scoring above the minimum cut-off marks in each subject. Based on the total marks scored in the exam, a common merit list will be prepared. Those Students who do not clear the total cut-off marks and individual subject cut-off marks in the Exam will not qualify for the final merit list. The final discretion will remain with FIITJEE management and this decision will be final and binding on the candidate.

Note 2 : Tuition Fee waiver on FIITJEE programs & Hostel Fee concessions (wherever available) are valid on the program fee applicable at the time of enrolment in - Four Year Classroom Program for JEE Advanced, 2026 OR SUPREME - Four Year Integrated School Program for JEE Advanced, 2026 OR Three Year Classroom Program for JEE Advanced, 2025 OR Two Year Classroom Program for JEE Advanced, 2024 OR PINNACLE - Two Year Integrated School Program for JEE Advanced, 2024 OR One Year Classroom Program for JEE Advanced, 2023 at FIITJEE Mumbai (Mumbai Suburban, Thane, Navi Mumbai), Nagpur & Pune Centre only.

Note 3 : The Hostel fee concessions (wherever available) are valid only for FIITJEE’s associate hostels / lodging and boarding facilities (for male Students only) made available through FIITJEE, subject to the Student joining that particular hostel and availability of seats. The Hostel Fee concessions (wherever available) are valid for the above-mentioned programs only. The concession will be given monthly between April 2022 to May 2026 for joining Four Year Integrated School / Classroom Program for JEE Advanced, 2026 OR between April 2022 to May 2025 for joining Three Year Classroom Program for JEE Advanced, 2025 OR between April 2022 to May 2024 for joining Two Year Integrated School / Classroom Program for JEE Advanced, 2024 OR between April 2022 to May 2023 for joining One Year Classroom Program for JEE Advanced, 2023 and only for the duration of Integrated School / Classroom program. The hostel fee concessions (wherever available) will be paid directly to the hostel owner by FIITJEE. Hostel fee concessions (wherever available) is for accommodation only. Food, transportation & other personal expenses are to be borne by the Students. To avail this concession, Students must have an Optimum Performance in Phase Tests & National Level Tests and a minimum of 90% monthly attendance in their respective Classes at FIITJEE. Hostel facility is available at selected FIITJEE Centres only.

Note 4 : Students presently in class IX & XI and already enrolled in FIITJEE’s Integrated School / Classroom Program for JEE can appear in Maharashtra Science Talent Search Exam to find out their current level of preparation and their projected Rank in JEE Advanced / Other Competitive Entrance Examinations. We are already committed to these Students in giving our complete support at any point of their preparation. Since these Students are already getting all the benefits and additional inputs through our classroom programs, Maharashtra Science

Talent Search Exam is only for giving the feedback on their preparation and no Fee Waivers / Concessions of any kind will be offered to such Students. However, FIITJEE Students will be entitled to rewards as per their actual performance in JEE Advanced, JEE Main, Olympiads, KVPY, XII Boards, NTSE & Jr. Olympiads.

Note 5 : Students presently in Class X and enrolled at FIITJEE in Four Year / Three Year Classroom Program (enrolled with an exit option after Class X and exercising their exit option) will be entitled for Benefits (associated with Maharashtra Science Talent Search Exam) only after moderation, on selection & joining PINNACLE - Two Year Integrated School Program / Two Year Classroom Program for JEE Advanced, 2024. The final discretion in each case will remain with FIITJEE and this decision will be final and binding on the candidate.

Note 6 : Students presently in Class VIII and enrolled at FIITJEE in UDAYA - Two / One Year Classroom Program can register themselves as a FIITJEE Student and they will be entitled to benefits of Maharashtra Science Talent Search Exam on selection & joining any one of these programs (a) SUPREME - Four Year Integrated School Program for JEE Advanced, 2026 ; (b) Four Year Classroom Program for JEE Advanced, 2026.

Note 7 (a) : The registered office of FIITJEE is at New Delhi. All disputes and differences of any nature whatsoever shall be referred to the Sole Arbitrator appointed by the Management of FIITJEE Ltd. The Arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 and Statutory modification thereof and rules made thereunder. The award of the Arbitrator shall be final & binding. It is further agreed that in spite of the fact that the Sole Arbitrator may be known to any of the Directors or shareholders or may have been appointed as an arbitrator earlier by the company shall not disqualify him. Even if the Arbitrator may have expressed an opinion in a similar matter earlier shall also not render him disqualified. The seat of the Arbitration will be New Delhi / Delhi.

Note 7 (b) : Subject to Note 7 (a) hereinabove, the exclusive Jurisdiction in the matter shall vest in New Delhi / Delhi Courts only.

Note 8 : If a Student scores zero or negative marks in any subject of any paper, then Scholarship (Fee Waivers) awarded will be scaled down by one slab.

General Terms & ConditionsNote 1 : If a Student appears in FIITJEE admission test (including Maharashtra Science Talent Search Exam) for the second time, Scholarship (Fee Waivers) if awarded, in the latter test will be scaled down by one slab so that he / she does not have any undue advantage over a fresh Student appearing for the first time.

Note 2 : FIITJEE reserves the right to change / cancel any program, eligibility criterion, and course fee without prior notice.
