Magazine Advert Creation

I began by choosing a font from the website “dafont” and saved the print screen as a JPEG. I then opened this image in photoshop and cropped it to just the writing.

I then dragged the layer to the bottom to unlock it before I could go any further. I then used the wand tool to highlight the text and delete the middle parts out. I could have changed the colour by using the colour filling tool but I decided I wanted my typography to be black as it stands out.

I did this to all of the pieces to my text.

I then placed all of my text and image into InDesign where I then decided the layout of my advert.
