MONDAY 1 Praise God for our medical flights which are bringing healthcare to remote communities. At a clinic in Kodike, Dr Anna Cleminson treated people for fungal infections, malnutrition, anaemia, parasites and chest infections. She also took time to explain the importance of hygiene in preventing illness in their children.

TUESDAY 2 Uphold Steve and Philippa Forsyth who have been serving in Uganda since 2003. Steve is Programme Manager, and Philippa works as a training consultant for MAF.

WEDNESDAY 3 Our finance team, led by Finance Manager Margaret McLaren, continues to have a heavy workload. Uphold them all and give thanks that Finance Officer Prossie Nakyesse recently won a transcontinental gold medal for graduating with first-class honours in Accounting and Business Analysis.

THURSDAY 4 Pray for our Christian partner organisation Mercy Uganda which works among the one million nomadic people of the semi-arid region of Karamoja. We fly in workers who help dig wells, train people in farming and handling livestock, and teach the Bible.

FRIDAY 5 Laurie Nason serves as IT Manager for MAF Uganda as well as helping other organisations. Pray for Laurie and for Kalumba Mugabi who is MAF Uganda’s IT Officer. Remember also Emma Nason who teaches science at the International School of Uganda.

SATURDAY 6 Pray as we search for someone to serve as Operations Manager for our South Sudan programme.

SUNDAY 7 Praise God for our Kenya team, and remember them as they continue to review their ministry focus as part of our overall review process across Africa and seek new opportunities to serve communities in the far north of Kenya.

MONDAY 8 Pray for the safety and security of our staff in Kenya. The threat of terrorist violence has increased following explosions in Nairobi and on the coast. Pray that peace will return to this beautiful country.

TUESDAY 9 Give thanks for the skills and commitment of our flying team, upholding Adrian Rose and his wife Lindsay, Brad Sinclair and his wife Rachel, Christiaan Haak and his wife Marieke and Steve and Katie Machell.

WEDNESDAY 10 Pray for political stability in the countries surrounding Kenya, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan and Somalia.

THURSDAY 11 Julie Nadin is our Human Resources Manager in Kenya looking after the busy team based in Nairobi. Uphold Julie who is currently on home assignment in the UK visiting friends and supporters.

FRIDAY 12 The conflict in South Sudan means that many people are crossing the border into Kenya, resulting in a large refugee camp at Kakuma. Pray for their health and welfare, and for MAF flights which speed help to those who have been displaced.

SATURDAY 13 We need someone to serve for a year as MAF Operations Director in Kenya. Please join us in praying that we will quickly find someone with the right experience to fill this important role.

7-13 SEPTEMBER

Caring in KenyaOur pilots are able to speed help, hope and healing to some of Kenya’s remotest places.

Lord, as we look out on a changing world and see its great need, give us faith to expect great things from You and the courage to attempt great things for You.

SUNDAY 14 Praise God for over 50 years of MAF work within Tanzania. During that time, the country’s infrastructure has improved and demands for our services have reduced. Pray for our remaining base in Arusha and our vital partnership with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Mbeya, which continues despite recent changes.

MONDAY 15 Give thanks for the many thousands of people reached by our flights over the years. Remember those staff being redeployed to other MAF programmes following the closure of our Dodoma and Dar es Salaam bases. Pray that other faithful team members will find new opportunities for their skills.

TUESDAY 16 Programme Manager Jez Simpson is responsible for leading our team through the restructuring of our work. Uphold Jez and his wife Carina, and the regular safari flights that will continue from our base in Arusha, speeding medical help and the Gospel to the Maasai community.

WEDNESDAY 17 Praise God for our medical safari flights which enable health workers to provide regular healthcare in remote locations. Sick people walk for miles to obtain medical help.

THURSDAY 18 MAF has been serving Mercy Medical Mission to open the first medical dispensary in the Rukwa Valley. Praise God for the hundreds of patients who have been treated. Give thanks too for those who have been able to receive medical care – many for the first time in their lives.

FRIDAY 19 Pray for our pilots Kirstein Combrink, Jarkko Korhonen and Steve Ottaviano who will remain in Tanzania.

SATURDAY 20 Pray for a Finance Manager to join our team in Arnhem Land.

14-20 SEPTEMBER

Changes in Tanzania Following a recent restructure of the Tanzania programme, pray for our team as they continue this important ministry.

Lord, give us the wisdom we need as we face the changes and challenges of being Your people serving You in today’s world.

SUNDAY 21 Praise God for our feeding programme in South Africa, which provides meals for more than 2,000 children in 51 different childcare centres.

MONDAY 22 Uphold the work of our eye doctor clinics which operate on 20 patients a day. Give thanks that people are having their eyesight restored.

TUESDAY 23 Our South Africa programme recently held a faith mission conference in Attridgeville. Praise God that many came to hear the Gospel and find out about MAF’s story and mission.

WEDNESDAY 24 Give thanks that a team of MozMed doctors we flew showed the Jesus film to around 1,600 people in the Moma area of Mozambique. Pray that many of those who saw it will come to faith in Christ.

THURSDAY 25 Pray that the crèche we built in Vhembe village, South Africa, will be a place where young people are well looked after and experience God’s love.

FRIDAY 26 Praise the Lord for our delivery of evangelistic gift boxes to children in mountain villages in Lesotho. Pray also for our weekly flights for Partners in Health to six health clinics, and for our Flying Doctor Service.

SATURDAY 27 A Facilities Manager is needed for our Juba base in South Sudan. Pray for the right person to respond.

21-27 SEPTEMBER

Flying in southern AfricaIn southern Africa, large and sophisticated cities exist alongside poor rural communities. Our flights seek to meet the needs of all.

Lord, we confess that our vision can be limited and our judgements flawed. By Your Spirit, help us to seek Your will.

SUNDAY 28 Praise God for our engineering teams in Africa and around the world as they work to keep all our aircraft safe, serviceable and airworthy. Their role is vital in maintaining the safety of our pilots, planes and passengers.

MONDAY 29 Mozambique is one of the poorest countries in the world. Pray for stamina and encouragement, as our staff seek to serve a nation where the majority of the population lives in poverty, and one out of every six children dies before the age of five.

TUESDAY 30 Uphold our work in Mozambique and pray that the process of MAF becoming a licensed business there will be completed by 2015. Pray too that believers will grow in their faith and not allow their former way of life to hinder their walk with Christ.

WEDNESDAY 1 Give thanks that our team was able to provide our partners New Tribes Mission in Mozambique with malaria medication, much needed supplies, and a new car battery. The son of one of the missionaries was suffering from malaria and, with no medication left in the district, the need for our flight was urgent.

THURSDAY 2 Pray that all staff vacancies in our programme in Lesotho will be filled, and that our personnel will be kept safe on the ground and in the air. Pray too that our team will be able to share the Gospel in villages where we work hard to maintain airstrips.

FRIDAY 3 Praise God for a flight delivering a volunteer GP to visit a clinic in Makuya, South Africa, an extremely remote area without access to medical care. Please pray for this community as they face many months without the vital care they need.

SATURDAY 4 Pray that we will be successful in finding a Finance Manager to serve our programme in South Sudan.

28 SEPTEMBER – 4 OCTOBER

Flying in southern AfricaOur team supports churches and missions in Mozambique, Lesotho and South Africa, and enables isolated people to receive healthcare.

Father God, thank You that You are our all sufficient One, enabling us to do Your Will.

5-11 OCTOBER

Compassion in ChadChad has great needs. The population suffers from internal conflict and inadequate infrastructure.

Lord, You have called us to join You in caring and showing love to the people of Chad, please give us the strength and stamina we need.

SUNDAY 5 Praise God that we now have sufficient pilots to meet our busy flying requirements in Chad. Uphold our aircraft maintenance engineers who keep our two planes airworthy.

MONDAY 6 Pray for Pilot Andrew Mumford and his wife Hannah in Chad. Also remember their children Zack and Esther, particularly as they enter the dry season in this challenging country.

TUESDAY 7 Uphold the Wellspring Academy attended by children living in N’Djaména, which also supports missionary families that home-school.

WEDNESDAY 8 Pray for continued opportunities to raise MAF’s profile and support the work of missions and NGOs serving the needs of people throughout Chad.

THURSDAY 9 Please pray for the work of our partners Wycliffe Bible Translators. With over 120 languages spoken throughout the country’s harsh and unforgiving landscape, Bible translation is vital.

FRIDAY 10 Give thanks that in 2014, our Chad programme has seen new staff, training and fruitful home assignments. Pray for team unity as our personnel continue to carry MAF’s vision forward.

SATURDAY 11 An experienced aircraft maintenance engineer is needed for our new programme in Liberia. Please pray for someone with the right skills to come forward.

SUNDAY 12 Praise God for our pilots who have been busy carrying Bible translators to a conference, transporting tin roofing for a rainforest health dispensary, ferrying various missionaries back and forth, and performing medical evacuations for sick and injured people.

MONDAY 13 Our team helps with Nyankunde Youth Camps, which aim to reach young people with sports evangelism and Bible study. Pray that God will touch many young peoples’ lives in this region and that they will choose to accept Jesus as their Saviour.

TUESDAY 14 Give thanks for the Pilatus PC12 aircraft which has moved to our fleet in western DRC. Pray that this will be a real blessing to the community and that many will receive Jesus’ transforming love.

WEDNESDAY 15 The overwhelming need in the DRC stems from years of insecurity, violence and conflict. Pray for our pilots and partners as they do all they can to alleviate suffering and enable God’s love and healing to break through.

THURSDAY 16 Pray that work on the four staff houses, offices, hangars and school buildings at our Nyankunde base in eastern DRC will progress well. Pray too that the recently reopened base will be a means of great blessing to those we seek to serve.

FRIDAY 17 Uphold Jon and Cher Cadd, who lead our eastern DRC team of 20 local staff and 7 international families based in Nyankunde, Bunia and also Kampala, Uganda, with 3 aircraft, serving in one of the most challenging countries in which we work.

SATURDAY 18 There is an urgent need for an Operations Manager in Uganda. Please pray that the right person will soon come forward for this role.

12-18 OCTOBER

Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)Our work in the DRC offers vital help to those living in an often volatile political climate.

Lord, no matter what our brothers and sisters in the DRC are going through, please help them to give thanks in all circumstances.

SUNDAY 19 Praise God for our Christian Radio Missionary Fellowship, which has been broadcasting the Gospel across PNG for almost 60 years. Pray that we will be able to keep pace with this growing need and that more and more people will encounter Christ through our broadcasts.

MONDAY 20 Uphold our team of aircraft maintenance engineers. A number have left earlier this year. As the same number of aircraft need to be serviced, please pray that our staff will be able to cope with all the engineering requirements.

TUESDAY 21 Michael and Nicki Duncalfe have celebrated 20 years of service with MAF in PNG. Pray for Michael, who is Chief Pilot, and for Nicki who has now added the role of Safety Administrator to her other responsibilities, which will see her tracking and following up vital safety issues.

WEDNESDAY 22 Even on routine flights, our pilots are often asked to airlift patients who need emergency medical treatment. Give thanks to God for this life-saving aspect of our ministry.

THURSDAY 23 Pray for Christian Leaders’ Training College (CLTC), which provides Bible training up to Masters level. We provide college students with highly subsidised fares. Pray that CLTC will find qualified lecturers and adequate funding for its work.

FRIDAY 24 Pray for the PNG strategic planning team devising plans for the next five years. Pray the Lord will guide them as to where our services are most needed.

SATURDAY 25 Pray with us that three experienced aircraft maintenance engineers will soon hear God’s call to our team in PNG.

19-25 OCTOBER

Papua New Guinea (PNG) Many tribes in this mountainous country have little contact with the outside world. Our flights help to meet their spiritual, educational and development needs.

Lord, may those who are suffering also know the joy of Your resurrection.

SUNDAY 26 Praise God for the Jesus film screenings that have been happening in PNG most weekends. Pray that everyone who gets to see the film will be touched by its depiction of the Lord Jesus and realise their need for Him.

MONDAY 27 Mandy Glass assists Communications Officer Glen Sim in providing our supporters with inspiring articles and news about our work. Pray for Mandy as she shares stories and pictures from PNG with the MAF family.

TUESDAY 28 Uphold our busy team in PNG. The programme consists of 26 international and 93 national staff operating 11 aircraft from 5 bases throughout the country. The team gives thanks for rain in Mount Hagen and Goroka earlier this year.

WEDNESDAY 29 Please pray that Programme Manager Godfrey Sim and his wife Glen, PNG’s Communications Officer, continue to have wisdom in their important roles.

THURSDAY 30 Our team says living in PNG can be very challenging. The infrastructure is poor and power and water are not always easily obtainable. Pray that essential services will be repaired – resulting in improved health and hygiene for local people.

FRIDAY 31 Pray that, despite recent calls for demonstrations and protests against PNG’s government, our staff will remain safe and the authorities act wisely and with sensitivity.

SATURDAY 1 There’s a critical need for more staff in many of our overseas programmes. Pray for an IT Manager to work in PNG, and a Chief Engineer to support MAF’s work in Mongolia.

26 OCTOBER – 1 NOVEMBER

Papua New Guinea (PNG)Because there are virtually no roads in PNG’s remote highlands, isolated communities rely on MAF to deliver vital supplies.

SUNDAY 2 Praise God for health-giving flights like those carrying teams of doctors, dentists, nurses and eye specialists to Bekodoka. People walk many miles to receive treatment. Pray that everyone who attends such clinics finds healing.

MONDAY 3 Uphold Pilot and Operations Manager Josh Plett and his wife Jocelyn, who works as Communications Officer. Pray for safety as Josh flies our partners to remote communities, landing on mountainside airstrips. He is often called upon to perform emergency medical evacuations.

TUESDAY 4 We maintain a logistics service not just for ourselves but also in support of our partner missions and agencies. Pray for Logistics Manager Andry Rajaobelison, Logistics Officer and Driver Raphael Rakotomampionina and Logistics Secretary and Training Co-ordinator Ony Ralambotiana.

WEDNESDAY 5 The team is celebrating 25 years of MAF’s work in Madagascar, marking the occasion with a thanksgiving party for our partners today. Pray the event will inspire and encourage all who attend. Give thanks also for the many UK supporters who sent encouraging messages on paper ‘bunting’ to mark the occasion.

THURSDAY 6 Pray for Chief Engineer Rob Barber and Aviation Maintenance Engineer Michel Rasolondranaivo as they keep our planes in an airworthy condition. Give thanks for their dedication and specialist skills.

FRIDAY 7 Remember our partners in mission and care. These include Médicins Sans Frontières, Wycliffe Bible Translators, World Venture, Medici Volantari Italiani, Rehobot Madagascar and Assemblies of God.

SATURDAY 8 Pray more experienced pilots will soon come forward to serve in PNG. Our programme is experiencing high demands, and the need to fill these vacancies has become critical.

SUNDAY 9 Praise God that, in the delta area of Bangladesh, our amphibious aircraft can reach many poor communities in otherwise inaccessible areas. In a country where there are few airstrips, we are able to land on water in over 300 locations – providing people with the help they need.

MONDAY 10 GIZ is a German development organisation we frequently fly for. It works with communities affected particularly by cyclone Mahasen to provide training and support so people can develop skills to earn a living. Please pray for those affected by this and other cyclones – one year on, many are still rebuilding their lives.

TUESDAY 11 Uphold Programme Manager and Chief Pilot Chad Tilley and his wife Cyndi during a time of staff changes. Give thanks for the willingness of Pilot Rune Karlsson, based in Sweden, who acts as relief pilot when needed.

WEDNESDAY 12 Earlier this year, our floatplane carried officials from the Bangladeshi Government’s World Food Programme to visit a climate change project, which helps over 80,000 rural people living in poverty. Give thanks for this trip, and pray for the many vulnerable people in this challenging landscape.

THURSDAY 13 Uphold our local Bangladeshi personnel, including Aircraft Mechanic, Flight Crew Member and Dispatcher Raju Mondal and Logistics Co-ordinator Ashim Halder.

FRIDAY 14 Give thanks for the work of our small team in Bangladesh. Sabrina Nizam, Communications Officer for Friendship, one of our partners, gives thanks that, ‘The benefit MAF provides is boundless. International doctors who work with us are volunteers. Their time is valuable.’

SATURDAY 15 Join us in praying for an experienced pilot to fly our amphibious aircraft in Bangladesh.

SUNDAY 16 Praise God for our partnership with Life Bridging Works. The organisation brings physical help and Christian teaching to poor, remote communities by using school teachers, volunteer accountants and Bible teachers.

MONDAY 17 Remember many of our South Sudanese team members who have lost brothers, sisters or close friends through recent fighting. Pray that a just and lasting peace will bring stability to this fragile nation.

TUESDAY 18 Continue to uphold our team based in Juba led by Programme Manager Bastiaan de Waal. We are seeing an increase in the demand for flights. Pray for wisdom as Bastiaan prioritises requests from our various partner missions.

WEDNESDAY 19 Pray for our pilots’ safety. Because of unrest and insecurity, they are often asked to fly into dangerous situations to support our partners – sometimes needing to evacuate personnel based in remote places.

THURSDAY 20 Uphold the work of our partner Medair. Interim Country Director Rebekka Meissner, recalling the times we have flown staff members out of difficult situations, says, ‘I am so grateful for the difference MAF makes.’

FRIDAY 21 Like many MAF partners, Tearfund wouldn’t be able to serve in South Sudan without the help of MAF. Pray for Tearfund’s health-giving work and give thanks for our ability to carry antibiotics, syringes, mosquito nets, seeds and other essential equipment for them.

SATURDAY 22 Pray that we will find someone to serve as a pilot in South Sudan.

16-22 NOVEMBER

Flying in South SudanDespite the difficulties arising from recent inter-tribal conflict, we continue a service in South Sudan that began over 60 years ago.

Father, in the face of fighting and unrest, may people still acknowledge Your sovereignty.

SUNDAY 23 Praise God for 22 new Christians who were baptised at Yirrkala Beach during a thanksgiving weekend on Elcho Island.

MONDAY 24 Our Technology Services team in Arnhem Land is preparing electronic tablets to provide Christian leaders with material for discipleship and spiritual growth. Pray that, through this new technology, leaders will be better equipped for their work.

TUESDAY 25 Remember Ben and Anne Sibthorpe who are based in Mareeba. Ben is a very experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, and Anne is a busy mum of five.

WEDNESDAY 26 Our Flight Training Centre is moving from Coldstream to Mareeba. Pray the move to newly constructed buildings will go smoothly.

THURSDAY 27 Pray for Tim and Carol Derbyshire. Tim and Carol have been serving MAF at the Flight Training Centre in Coldstream. Pray for them as they consider ongoing opportunities to serve with MAF when the Flight Training Centre moves to Mareeba.

FRIDAY 28 Uphold Prabhu Pothula who comes from a small village in South India. He has two aims in life: to fly and to do God’s work. After a long journey and much training, Prabhu has been accepted to join the MAF team. Currently training at Coldstream to convert his Commercial Pilots Licence to the Australian system, he hopes to fly with MAF in Arnhem Land.

SATURDAY 29 Pray for three aircraft maintenance engineers to join our team in Arnhem Land and another in Mareeba.

23-29 NOVEMBER

Arnhem Land and MareebaMAF’s work in Australia reaches the Aboriginal people of Arnhem Land in the north, and offers engineering and flight training in Mareeba.

Father God, wherever they are, help Christian men and women to love and value people, whoever they are.

SUNDAY 30 Praise God for our Kalimantan team of 13 international staff families and 18 local staff members, 1 mechanic and 2 schoolteachers. We operate 7 aircraft from 2 bases – Tarakan and PalangkaRaya.

MONDAY 1 Give thanks for the delivery of a new amphibious Kodiak aircraft to our base at PalangkaRaya in Kalimantan. Pray that it will be a great means to reach more people with the Gospel, as well as bringing them practical expressions of the love of Jesus.

TUESDAY 2 Our planes make a large number of medical emergency flights in Timor-Leste. Praise God that we can help in this way, and pray that patients and their families will experience God’s healing love through this vital ministry.

WEDNESDAY 3 MAF works with the Ministry of Health to provide an emergency airlift service from remote districts to Dili Hospital in Timor-Leste. Please pray for safety in the air and that the patients receive the medical attention they desperately need.

THURSDAY 4 Give thanks for the willingness of Alan and Davina Sully to undertake short-term assignments. From Chad, they have now moved to Mongolia where Alan is serving as Interim Programme Manager.

FRIDAY 5 Steve Richards, an MAF pilot in Papua, tragically lost his home due to a severe fire earlier this year. Praise God that no one was harmed, but uphold his wife Jodi and children Anna and Alex as they rebuild their lives. Pray too for the safety of our Papua team.

SATURDAY 6 Please join us in praying that the right person will answer God’s call to join our team in Mongolia and serve as Programme Manager.

30 NOVEMBER – 6 DECEMBER

Looking to the eastWherever we look in the world, there are people in need of the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Lord God, as Your servants work and serve in Asia, may people see Your face, know Your love and experience Your saving power.

SUNDAY 7 Praise God that MAF is now a legal entity in Liberia. Pray as we seek to rehabilitate old airstrips, build new ones and help Liberia to be the land of ‘freedom’ that its name implies.

MONDAY 8 Give thanks for the Cessna 208 aircraft being deployed from our Uganda programme. Pray for progress in finding the right site to build our hangar near Monrovia, Liberia’s capital.

TUESDAY 9 Pray for Emil and Margrit Kündig as they settle into life in Liberia. Emil is leading the team as Programme Manager and Chief Pilot, and Margrit is Finance Manager.

WEDNESDAY 10 We believe more than 80 missions and other agencies could benefit from our flights, both for their existing work and in opening up opportunities to serve disadvantaged people in isolated areas. Pray for our work as we build fruitful partnerships in a country where 80% of the people live below the poverty line.

THURSDAY 11 Praise God for MAF Pilot Arjan Paas who recently arrived from our Arnhem Land programme with his wife Aartje to serve in Liberia. Pray for strength and safety as they settle into their exciting new role in a country where violent thunderstorms are frequent and average rainfall is over 4.6m a year.

FRIDAY 12 Setting out on a new venture in a country that is characterised by swamps, lagoons and sandbars is exciting and challenging. Pray for plans to be finalised and staff to be recruited so we can assist the many believers currently living in fear and spiritual bondage.

SATURDAY 13 We urgently need someone to manage airfield development work in our new programme in Liberia. Pray we will soon identify the right person to fill this post.

Loving care for LiberiaRoad travel in Liberia is treacherous, so our new programme there will be invaluable to mission and development agencies.

SUNDAY 14 Praise God for the new translation of The Life of Christ and the book of Ruth in the Melayu Papua language. Pray this will encourage Christians and help those who aren’t believers in Papua, Indonesia.

MONDAY 15 Give thanks that our aircraft in Papua enabled a medical team from Village Partners International to treat over 500 patients. Pray that many more MAF flights will help bring healing to those in need.

TUESDAY 16 Praise God for the many medevacs MAF makes throughout Asia-Pacific nations. In Papua, when a mother was having difficulties during pregnancy, we flew her to hospital in Wamena, where her baby was born prematurely.

WEDNESDAY 17 Join our staff in praying that the Church in Papua will remain true to the Bible and will resist worldly temptation. The pressure for people to conform to the ‘cultural norms’ of those around them is great.

THURSDAY 18 Pray for our team’s relationships with government, UN and NGO bodies in Timor-Leste, asking for favour as we negotiate the paperwork needed for our new aircraft, the relocation of the MAF hangar, and our day-to-day operations.

FRIDAY 19 Praise God for the wonderful skills and creativity of MAF’s roving reporter LuAnne Cadd. Her images and stories are essential to creating the communication materials you receive. Pray LuAnne will be protected, strengthened and inspired as she travels across the MAF world.

SATURDAY 20 There is an urgent need for a Financial Administrator in PNG. Please pray that the right person will soon respond to this vacancy.

SUNDAY 21 Praise God that MAF carried out over 78,000 flights in 2013; flying nearly 200,000 passengers and 73,855 tons of freight. We served around 1,500 organisations, and flew to over 1,700 destinations. We give thanks for the prayers and gifts from our generous supporters which enable us to continue to bring help, hope and healing to many remote regions of the world.

MONDAY 22 Carolyn Flanagan is responsible for managing relationships with a variety of organisations for whose support we are most grateful. Pray for her as she develops these relationships and communicates the benefits their support is making overseas.

TUESDAY 23 Uphold IT Manager Jon Fox, ably assisted by IT Officer Luke Saunders. Jon supports UK employees in their IT requirements and ensures the appropriate IT infrastructure is in place.

WEDNESDAY 24 Pray for Copywriter and Editor Gary Clayton, who writes for Flying for Life and edits and proofreads a variety of MAF products and publications – including the Prayer Diary. Pray for clarity, accuracy and creativity.

THURSDAY 25 Praise God for Jesus’ birth! As we celebrate Christmas Day, let us remember all those around the world who are far from family and friends. May the love of Christ reach around the world as we mark the miracle of His arrival on earth.

FRIDAY 26 This Christmas, remember those who have lost loved ones through conflict, illness or natural disaster, upholding those who are unable to celebrate the Saviour’s birth freely, or have been separated from family members.

SATURDAY 27 Pray for more avionics engineers to join our Kenya programme.

SUNDAY 28 Praise God for Alie Tozer, who designs Flying for Life, our Prayer Diary, and a large number of other resources. Pray for energy and creativity as she makes MAF publications come to life.

MONDAY 29 Uphold Finance and Travel Officer Margaret Simpson as she co-ordinates flights, car hire and train travel arrangements for UK and overseas staff. She also processes invoices and expenses for payment, liaising with colleagues and suppliers.

TUESDAY 30 Supporter Relations Officer Viv Oliver assists with gift processing and is also responsible for reconciling monthly gifts. Pray as she seeks to provide our supporters with the best level of care through the accurate processing of data.

WEDNESDAY 31 Give thanks that every day, we carry out 250 flights, fly around 20,000 nautical miles, transporting 637 passengers and nearly 24 tons of freight. Join us in praying that 2015 will be another fruitful year for God’s worldwide ministry through MAF.
