The easiest way to make an enemy is to tell them that they are wrong.Don’t tell them they are wrong, don’t get them stirred up.

Show respect for the other person’s opinions. Never say, you’re wrong.If you are wrong admit it.

A drop of honey catches more flies than a gallon of gall.If you could win a man to your way of thinking, first

convince him that you are his sincere friend, there in is a drop of honey catches his heart.

Of the people you meet, 75% are starving for sympathy. Give sympathy to them and they will love you. If you want to win people to your way

Socrates' secret is simple, begin all conversations on things which you agree. Do not begin by discussing differences. Emphasize common purposes and keep emphasizing these things. Keep your opponent saying yes and, if possible,

other person arrive at the conclusion? No one wants to feel they are being sold or told something. We feel much better if we are acting on our own accord or the idea was our own. People want to be consulted

on their ideas, wishes, wants, and thoughts.

An Appeal That Everybody LikesEveryone, I mean everyone, has a high regard for themselves being fine and unselfish in their own estimation. There seems to be two

reasons that motivate people to an end; one that sounds good and the other one that is actual. You do not need to emphasize the real reason

as the person will most definitely think of that one. However, being idealist at heart we think of motives that sound good. So in order to

influence people we need to appeal to the nobler cause.
