• The project came about through the University’s involvement with the Financial Services Authority’s ‘Money Doctors’ programme, which is aimed at improving the financial capabilities of university students.

• ‘Student debt is a major problem... not just because students have large debts to the Student Finance England (formerly the Student Loan Company), but also because a growing number are struggling to pay their rent and utilities and many have several consumer credit debts such as personal loans and credit cards.

• As partners…they helped to write the material and plan out the design

• As CV enhancement – all the students were nominated for a student achievement award

• They were selected because they got the highest mark for their first year small group presentation

• We had outline – but students just got on with it.

• We got a great result – but…• Trying to get all the

students together at the same time – nightmare!

• Dropping out…

- Different voice over for solution.
