My puppy raisers are Dave and Pam McKenzie and we live in Lakewood. Dave is in construction and Pam helps people make sound financial decisions. I came home with them when I was seven weeks old and I will live with them until I am about 16 months old, then I will go back to Guide Dogs of America for my formal training. Dave and Pam are teaching me basic obedience and how to be a good puppy when I am out in public. I go to work with Pam every day at her office and I get to meet her clients and everyone that she works with. As I get older, I will also go to work with Dave and work on some kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects. Right now I have not had all my shots, so I am not able to go very many places but on February 1 st , I will have all of my shots and I can start going to a lot of fun places and I will let you know about all of the things I will be doing. At home I live with three older dogs and two cats. I am learning that cats don’t particularly liked to be played with and one of my lessons is to be nice to them. I am also learning how to be nice to my new dog family. I can be kind of a pest, but Augie really likes me, so we have fun playing all the time. LYNK’S “LYNKED” IN

1st Quarter 2016

LYNK ON HIS FIRST DAY HOME IN THIS ISSUE- 7 WEEKS TO 14 WEEKS

Hi Everyone,

My name is Lynk and I am a German

Shepherd Black and Tan puppy in training

from Guide Dogs of America. My puppy

raisers are Dave and Pam McKenzie and we

live in Lakewood. Dave is in construction and

Pam helps people make sound financial

decisions.

I came home with them when I was seven

weeks old and I will live with them until I am

about 16 months old, then I will go back to

Guide Dogs of America for my formal

training.

Dave and Pam are teaching me basic

obedience and how to be a good puppy when

I am out in public. I go to work with Pam

every day at her office and I get to meet her

clients and everyone that she works with. As

I get older, I will also go to work with Dave

and work on some kitchen and bathroom

remodeling projects.

Right now I have not had all my shots, so I am

not able to go very many places but on

February 1st, I will have all of my shots and I

can start going to a lot of fun places and I will

let you know about all of the things I will be

doing.

At home I live with three older dogs and two

cats. I am learning that cats don’t particularly liked to be played with and one

of my lessons is to be nice to them.

I am also learning how to be nice to my new

dog family. I can be kind of a pest, but Augie

really likes me, so we have fun playing all the

time.

Murphy says Hi to everyone at Sepulveda

Building Materials. You sponsored her when

she was in training but she decided she just

wanted to stay home and be a couch potato.

Now I have big shoes to fill. Dave and Pam

raised Grayson, who Sepulveda Building

Materials sponsored in 2012. Grayson is now

a working Guide Dog up in the Pacific

Northwest, but he comes and visits Dave and

Pam often. Grayson may be coming for a

visit soon, so we will get lots of pictures for

you. I hope I can be a great Guide Dog like

Grayson one day.

I want to Thank You for your sponsorship and

for your ongoing support of Guide Dogs of

America. We would be lost without you!!

Coming Home I share my home with three career changed Guide Dogs

of America pups. Augie, Murphy and Bristi.

Puppy Fun and Those Ears!

Right now it is all about having fun and learning basic

obedience and the most important… when and where to

do my business!
