Minimally invasive surgical treatment including roboc surgery, image-guided skull base surgery, and sennel lymph node mapping. ii. Novel radiaon delivery methods including proton beam therapy and image-guided radiaon therapy (IGRT). iii. Incorporaon of immunotherapy for treatment of advanced head and neck cancer. 3. Discuss future direcons to the treatment of head and neck cancer based on the latest basic science and clinical developments including: i. The diagnosis and treatment of human papillomavirus (HPV) posive oropharyngeal. ii. The latest developments in the molecular biology of head and neck cancer and its impact on management. iii. The role of biomarkers in the contemporary management of head and neck cancer. iv. Strategies for recognion and treatment of adverse effects of immunotherapy. 4. Discuss new staging guidelines (8th edion AJCC) for head and neck cancer. 5. Apply current treatment guidelines to paents with head and neck cancer. 6. Integrate quality measures for the care of head and neck cancer into their own clinical pracce.

The Lurie Cancer Center Multidisciplinary Head & Neck Symposium is a one and one-half day interactive program on the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of head and neck cancer patients.
