AIM :-

The Institute is started to work in the field of Naturopathic Medical

Research, Education & Training. The aim of the institute is to conduct short term

& long term courses in Naturopathy & Yoga for the development of the education

in the field of Naturopathy.

RECOGNISATION OF NATURE CURE :-

The Government of India recognizes Naturopathy under Indian System of

medicine. It has established Central Council for research in Yoga & Naturopathy

with its Head Office at New Delhi under the ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

It has also established National Institute of Naturopathy in Pune.

Further several state Governments like Andra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh,

Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gujrat, Karela, Karnataka, Maharashtra & Rajesthan have

recognized Nature Cure as a system of treatment. The World Health Organization

has also recognized Naturopathy. According to WHO Naturopathy has a major to

play as an alternative medicine. The International University for Complimentary

Medicines has also recognized Naturopathy and The Indian Board of Alternative

Medicines gives Protection and Registration for practice to Naturopaths.

The Government of India has taken many strong steps for the development of

Naturopathy The CCRYN provides technical help & financial Aid to the

Naturopathic Institutions, Research centers & Hospitals.

Central Council for Research in Yoga &Naturopathy

Introduction:-

The Govt. of India after having recognized the need for systematic

Research and Development of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and

Homoeopathy in the country, established the “Central Council for Research in

Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy” in 1969 as an

autonomous organization under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. This

organization, first of its kind was established in India by the Central Govt. to

conduct Scientific Research in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Yoga, existed upto

1978. During this period, the development of Naturopathy was looked after by

the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare directly. Later, in March 1978, this

composite Council was dissolved to pave way for the formation of four

independent Research Councils, one each for Ayurveda and Siddha, Unani,

Homoeopathy and Yoga & Naturopathy.

Hence, this Council was established in 1978 with a view to provide better

opportunities for alround development of Yoga and Naturopathy independently

according to their own doctrines and fundamental principles

Management of the Council:-

The activities of the Council is governed by two Committees :-

1.Governing Body

2.Scientific Financial Committee

Union Minister for Health & F.W. or Union Minister of State for Health & F.W. is

the President of the Governing Body. The President will nominate an eminent

non-official interested in Yoga and Naturopathy as Vice-President. The other

members of the Governing Body includes experts of Yoga, Naturopathy & Modern

Medicine.

The general management and control of affairs of the Council, the formulation of

policies and overall guidance for the implementation of programmes and

activities of the Council are provided by the Governing Body.

The Scientific Financial Committee (SFC) is constituted with 2 official members

and 4 non-official members with Joint Secretary (AYUSH) as the Chairman.

The function of the Scientific Financial Committee (SFC) is to formulate the

programmes related to Yoga and Naturopathy and to examine the budget &

annual accounts of the Council and all matters having financial bearing before

they are put up to the Governing Body.

BENEFITS OF THE GIVEN COURSES :-

These courses will be beneficial in all the services in the field of Naturopathy

& Yoga. After completion of the course one con work in the field of Research,

education & medicine related to Naturopathy. Many facilities by the Health

Ministry central and state governments have been provided for the welfare of

Naturopaths, like easy bank loan in doctor’s quota, grand for hospital, status of a

doctors equivalent to MBBS & doctors of other apathies etc.

Now this system of medicine is very much appreciated by the government &

the general public. After completion of the course successful candidates can do

practice in Private/Public sector.

ASSOCIATED HOSPITAL :-

For the purpose of practical training very well, full fledge hospital (Sandeep

Naturopathy Hospital) is attached with the institute. This Hospital provides

complete facilities for the Naturopathic treatment & Yoga therapy of the patients.

Our students learn Practice of Nature Cure practically in this hospital. So that they

become more confident Naturopaths and learn the methods of Natural

Treatment more deeply.

Admission procedure :-

After submission of fees & completely filled up Application form candidates

will have to go through medical examination & interviews there after the

successful candidates will be enrolled in the institute as a student.

Dress Code :-

This is compulsory for every male or female student to wear a white apron

in the hospital & college during the practical and theory classes.

Examination & Internship

Written & Practical Exams will be conducted after completion of every

semester. After passing out of final semester Diploma/Degree will be awarded to

the successful candidates.

Registration of Practice :-

Registration of Practice will be given to every successful candidate after

completion of the course and after 3 months compulsory internship from the

associated hospital on extra payment.

Medium of Instructions :-

The medium of instructions will be English & Hindi.

Theory & Practical Classes :-

One hour theory & one hour practical class will be given to every student

per week on Sunday. Total 24 theory and 24 practical classes will be given to

every student per semester of six months and 72 theory and 72 Practical classes

will be given per semester of eighteen months. This is compulsory for every

student to attendant minimum 75% theory and practical classes during the full

semester otherwise they will not be eligible for regular certificate /diploma/

degree and will be given correspondence diploma/degree after completion of the

course.

2. D.Y.Ed. (Dip. in Yoga Edu.), D.Y.Th(Dip.in Yoga Therapy),

N.D.Sc (Dip.in Naturopathic Science

Qualification : 10th Pass/CYEd/CYTh/CNSc/ Equvalant

Duration : One Year

Minimum Age : No age bar

Fees : 12000/- Yearly or 7000/- Two installments

3. D.N.Y.S. (Diploma in Naturopathy & Yoga Science)

Eligibility : Intermediate Biology or D.Y.Ed. or equivalent.

Duration : 3 Years + 6 months compulsory internship

Minimum Age : No age bar

Semesters : 3 (each of 12 months)

Fees : 12000/- per semester/year or 7000/- Two installments

4. M.D. (Naturopathy & Yoga) (Master Diploma in Naturopathy & Yoga Sciences)

Eligibility : D.N.Y.S., B.N.Y.S.,N.D., M.B.B.S., B.D.S., B.A.M.S., B.H.M.S.,

B.U.M.S.,B.E.M.S., B.Sc.(ZBC) or Any Medical Graduate

Duration : One Year
