You’ll never get bored on the European continent – it’s alive with a huge range of cultures, cuisines and ancient histories. Each new nation is as unique as the next, offering an individual adventure – from exploring the streets of London to eating gelato in front of the Colosseum in Rome. Passing through five countries, you’ll enjoy improving your language skills alongside new friends, with an expert Tour Director by your side. They’ll help test your new knowledge by showing you key sights, hidden shops and restaurants at every stop.

Begin your journey in London – home of incredible icons such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the London Eye – before catching the high-speed Eurostar train under the sea to Paris, the stylish and sophisticated capital of France. Passing through the alpine landscape of Switzerland, you’ll stop at Lucerne, where you’ll explore the fairytale town center and take a trip into the clouds up majestic Mount Pilatus. Heading south, you’ll reach the Italian city of Florence – ready and waiting for you to get your camera out for some souvenir snapshots – before heading onwards to Rome. Italy’s capital city is a living museum where unforgettable encounters in culture and cuisine come together.

Hopping across the sea via ferry to Greece, you’ll stop at the magnificent Meteora region on your way to your final stop in Athens, where you can compare the ancient histories of Greece and Italy as you explore the Parthenon and bustling Athenian streets. There’s even the option to enjoy a Greek island cruise before heading home.

DAYS 1-2: WELCOME TO LONDON!You’ll start by traveling with an EF Leader from your home country and fly to London, where you’ll meet your Tour Director. London is a city of eight million people that has become one of the world’s most exciting and multicultural environments. From London Bridge to the Houses of Parliament, you’ll have your camera filled with souvenir photos in no time. As you practice your English in shops and restaurants, you’ll admire architectural marvels like the giant Shard skyscraper and beautifully old St. Paul’s Cathedral. Check out the lively five-way intersection at Piccadilly Circus and get a taste of what English countryside is like in peaceful Hyde Park. During your stay in France’s capital city, you’ll get a taste of posh Parisian style as you ride down the Champs Élysées past high-fashion boutiques. You’ll also pass the Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe and get the chance to strike a pose in front of the Eiffel Tower. You’ll get an insider’s view of the iconic glass pyramid that marks the entrance to the renowned Louvre, home to treasures like Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa painting. DAYS 9-10: THE REAL ROME EXPERIENCEYour grand tour continues to Rome, a city that’s a living and breathing museum. During your stay, explore the world’s most famous arena, the Colosseum, where you can almost hear the stamping feet of the crowds that gathered to watch gladiators fight. On your visit to the Vatican City, marvel at Michelangelo’s breathtaking ceiling in the Sistine Chapel and head to the Spanish Steps for gelato in the middle of one of Rome’s most lively piazzas. DAYS 11-12: SORRENTO AND POMPEIITravel to the Sorrento region and stop to explore the ancient city of Pompeii, world-famous for being buried by ash when nearby volcano Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD.

DAY 13: MAGICAL METEORAAfter a ferry ride across the ocean from Italy, you’ll arrive in Igoumenitsa on the Greek coast. You’ll travel onwards to Meteora, a stunning natural wonder where multiple monasteries are built right on the edge of clifftops. Make sure you’ve got a head for heights, as you’ll be exploring one of these monasteries before heading off towards Athens.

DAYS 14-16: FROM DELPHI TO ATHENSEn route to Athens you’ll stop at Delphi, a key archaeological site on mighty Mount Parnassus. Arriving in Athens, you’ll visit the Acropolis to view the Parthenon, perhaps the world’s greatest ancient building. Explore the Temple of Athena Nike with your new friends, a breathtaking building which once housed a golden statue of the goddess. Snap a picture of the Presidential Guard in traditional costume, then pass the stadium that hosted the first modern Olympics in 1896.
