Grade 4 learning geometry through architecture at the base of the Jin Mao Tower

Exhibition at PAFA Coffee MorningExhibition is the culminating task for the PYP. The Grade 5 Team will do the work towards the final product over the next 6 weeks but all of our students and staff are steadily building towards this event. Grade 2 students are developing the understandings they will need later in Grade 5 to maximize their participation in the process.
Next Tuesday morning at 10:00 am we will be hosting a PAFA Coffee Morning that will include a look at policies that direct your child’s learning and a focus on Exhibition. It is important that all our parents learn this process and see where our students are headed.
PYP Coordinator - Janette Haggith
What is the PYP Exhibition?
The Exhibition is an extended unit of inquiry occurring in the final year of the Primary Years Programme. This inquiry project allows Grade 5 students to demonstrate synthesis and understanding of the PYP essential elements (knowledge, concepts, skills, attitudes, and action), and share them with the school community. It also provides an opportunity for students to exhibit the learner profile attributes that have been developing throughout their engagement with the PYP. Students choose real-life issues or problems, which will then be explored and investigated in the exhibition.
SCIS Nurses Meet our new SCIS Nurse, Corona Liu! Ms. Lui will work with Ms. Sissi Zhu to care for our students during the school day as well as during athletic events after school.
