Heart-Shaped French Toast

This easy, heart-shaped French toast recipe for kids makes a perfect Valentine's Day breakfast or brunch!Kids can help: Stir egg mixture, dip bread and cut hearts.+ Bread + Egg+ Skim milk + Maple Syrup+ Strawberries

Beat an egg, using a fork, in a medium, low bowl.Add about ¾ cup milk per each egg used.Add a teaspoon of maple syrup and stir well.Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out heart shapes from the center of bread slices.Dip all bread pieces into egg mixture and set onto pancake griddle or large skillet set on medium heat.Brown lightly on both sides.Garnish with cut strawberries and maple syrup.

Materials:4 Pipe cleaners and scissors

1. Take one pipe cleaner and fold it into a “V”2. Bend the ends and twist together into a heart shape3. Repeat with another pipe cleaner to make 2 hearts4. Cut an inch piece of pipe cleaner5. Use that small piece to wrap around both hearts, connecting them6. Cut another pipe cleaner in half7. Take one half and twist the end to one side of the outside of the joined hearts8. Take the other half and do the same on the other side of the other paired hearts9. Bend the ends to make temple tips so they stay on your ears

Secret Message Watercolor Valentine

Materials:Card stock, scissors, white crayons, water color paint

These are so fun! First cut out hearts on white cardstock paper.Have parents or kids write a message on them using whitecrayon. Then paint the heart using watercolors and watch as themagic valentine message appears!
