Communication is simply the act of transferring information from one place to another.

One way communication

I listen to a song that I love by my favourite band, the band is communicating their song/message to me but there is no response to this or no reply. The communication is intended to be one way only.

INTERACTIVE

Many messages sent back and forward

I love my friends, so I spend a lot of time talking to them via text, phone call and the most popular being Facebook. When my friends are online at the same time as me messages are sent instantly between us one after the other.

TRANSACTIONAL

Two way communication

I would love to set up my own company and be my own boss, my friend would too. If we were to try and set up a company together we would need to sit down and throw out a few business ideas that we had. This is ideas going back and forth and I would be both a sender and a receiver of the messages.

The most effective form?

I believe the most effective form of communication is interactive because it is in the moment back and forth communication.
