YOUR MONTHLY GUIDE TO THE SCHOOL NEWS, INFORMATION AND EVENTS
Welcome Parents back
on Campus! Starting Monday, November
20, parents will be able to
enter campus. Each person will
check in with the guard upon
entry - with a list for now, until
ID cards are ready.
Parents are asked to stay
behind the imaginary line
created by cones about ⅓ of
the way across the circle.
Children must be with their
parents after dismissal time.
We miss having parents on
campus, and also ask that
parents continue to make
appointments to see teachers
or administrators. We are glad
the informal interactions inside
the gate can resume!

Construction
Inspection by Dr. Mohammad Latif, Lead
Engineering Officer of USAID
Office of American Schools
and Hospitals Abroad (ASHA).
We were honored to have
Dr. Latif with us for two days
inspecting our Wing project.
Dr. Latif declared the AST
USAID Wing Construction
Project 100% in compliance.
He said the state of construc-
tion site is exemplary in safety,
order, and quality control.
He wrote: Strength test data
provided by AST on the spot
at noon during ASHA engineer
visit. AST construction with QA/
QC testing is on track and
would serve an example for
others to follow.
During his visit, Dr. Latif made it
clear that the AST Project is to
represent American Values -
designed to open minds and
open horizons. He says AST is
seen as a success story, and
says there is a lot of potential
here, with hope for further
future development of pro-
grams for the benefit of all.
The USAID Funded AST Wing - a 21st Century Learning
Center for all Ages - is rapidly approaching a reality. Teachers,
students, and parents are all invited to review the plans and help
determine the development of each room.
USAID Long-term Project Goals awarded the USAID 2016 grant
