SUMMARYThe Beverly Hills Teddy Bear Co. has generously donated 4,500 plush toys, Squeezamals, to the Administration Bureau. The total value of the donation is $31,455.00. The toys will be distributed to our fires stations and kept on apparatus readily available to pass on to children with whom Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) members may come into contact.

RECOMMENDATIONThat the Board:1. Receive this report for the In-Kind Donation by the Beverly Hills Teddy Bear Co. for

the items listed above, valued at $31,455.00, to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

2. Request the Commission Executive Assistant to transmit this report to City Council in accordance with the Los Angeles Administrative Code, Ordinance 15514, Article 12, section 5.111.4, for consideration and approval.

FISCAL IMPACTThere is no fiscal impact to the Department’s budget from the acceptance of this donation

CONCLUSIONThe LAFD benefits tremendously from gracious donations and support such as this. The Community Liaison Office acknowledges the Beverly Hills Teddy Bear Co. for their generosity.
