    The Kid Zone will bethe happening spot for allthe young people. Checkout the mechanical bullriding, free craft booths,

    4-H petting zoo, Surf

    Challenge and more. TheU.S. Army will be hostinga free Rock Wall forclimbing. There will bemany options to engageour young visitors andtheir parents.

    The Wine Tasting Gar-den and Avenue of Arthave become a festivalfavorite. The Placer

    County Wine and GrapeAssociation wineries willbe pouring for a nominalfee, and artists from theAutumn Art Tour will befeatured. You can sit andsip, and enjoy the soundsof jazz from McLaughlinStudios and other musicgroups.

    Soroptimist Interna-tional of Rocklin Loomiswill be releasing a com-m e mor at ive L oom is-opoly Game this year forthe 22nd Annual Egg-plant Festival.

    Soroptimists are proudto help celebrate the 50thanniversary of theLoomis Chamber, the25th anniversary of theTown of Loomis, and the88th Anniversary ofSoroptimists with threenew player pieces forthe game.

    The Chamber piece isa purple glass eggplant,the Town piece is a redglass heart (I LoveLoomis), and the Sorop-

    timist piece is blue/yel-low.

    During the EggplantFestival, the game will be$25 each, which includesall the player pieces,including the three newdesigns. For those whohave already purchased agame, the three playerpieces are available for$5. You will also findmany games pre- wrapped, with birthday,Christmas, and decora-tive wrap what a time-saver!
