No addenda will be issued after August 7, and no additional pre-bid questions can be addressed after that date.



Narrative of Modification:

1. Sheet C4.0 – Provide additive bid item to relocate existing sanitary line as indicated in sketch ADD-C-001.

2. Sheet C7.0 – Provide sanitary manhole detail for relocated sanitary line as indicated in sketch ADD-C-002.

10. Sheet M003 – Provide accessory integral thermostats and wall mounting brackets for each hot water unit heater.

11. Sheet M003 – Revise the characteristics of the Steam-to-Hot Water Heat Exchanger to reflect a 10 psig inlet steam pressure, 1856 lbs/hr of steam, and a four pass configuration. Revise the Basis of Design to reflect a B&G SU10 3-2.

12. Sheet M003 and M302 – Provide duct mounted hot water coils as indicated on the Hot Water Coils Schedule. See sketch ADD-M-001 and ADD-M-004.

13. Sheets M301 and M302 – Provide wall mounted zone thermostats for each VAV zone.

14. Sheet M301 – Revise the ductwork in the crawl space to provide the necessary separation of penetrations through the existing structural wall. See sketch ADD-M-003.

15. Sheet M303 – Relocate CU-5 to a housekeeping pad on grade near the adjacent to the west exterior wall between column lines 5 and 6. See sketch ADD-M-006.



16. Sheet M303 – Relocate CU-6 to the roof of the mechanical annex adjacent to the existing east exterior wall between column lines 5 and 6. See sketch ADD-M-005.

17. Sheet M303 – Revise the stage return air duct and the penetration through the rear stage wall. See sketch ADD-M-007 and ADD-M-008.

18. Sheet M401 – Add 1-1/4” HWS and HWR pipes from the mechanical room to the duct mounted reheat coils associated with the Lobby. See sketch ADD-M-009.

19. Sheet M501 – Revise condenser water pipe routing between Mechanical Annex and Cooling Tower. See sketch ADD-M-010 and ADD-M-011.

20. Sheet M502 – Revise the return air connection to AHU-3. See sketch ADD-M-012.

21. Sheet M701 – Change the description of the chilled water control valve associated with each air handling unit from “Bypass Valve” to “3-Way Control Valve”.

22. Sheet M701 – Eliminate the normally closed 2-way control valve from the standby condenser water pump discharge piping.

23. Sheet M702 – Change the description of the hot water control valve associated with each air handling unit from “Bypass Valve” to “3-Way Control Valve”.

24. Sheet M702 – Provide a steam flow meter in the high pressure steam pipe between the gate valve and the inlet header of the steam pressure reducing station.

25. Sheet M702 – Eliminate the extraneous pump and duplicate tag marked “CP-1”.

26. Sheet M803 – Provide an additional ¼-inch pipe and ball valve from the inlet side of each pump suction strainer to the outlet side of the pressure gage to allow monitoring of the strainer pressure drop.

27. Sheet M803 – Revise the Chemical Shot Feeder to provide an additional union, pipe and valve connecting to the drain on the bottom of the Shot Feeder.

28. Sheet M803 – Eliminate the two-way control valve, one of the three-way control valves, and modify the piping to duplicate the Cooling Tower Piping flow path indicated on drawing M701.

29. Sheet P001 – Provide an Instantaneous Steam Water Heater selected for a “40°F-140°F” temperature rise rather than the “40°F-100°F” previously indicated.

30. Sheet P002 – Provide gate valves at the inlet and discharge of the steam control valve associated with the Steam Water Heater rather than the ball valves previously indicated.

31. Sheet P401 – Provide a ¾” make-up line with a shutoff ball valve to each of the two hydronic systems tapping into 1-1/2” line previously provided for the cooling tower make-up.



32. Sheet P702 - Provide a ¾” make-up line with a shutoff ball valve to each of the two hydronic systems tapping into 1-1/2” line previously provided for the cooling tower make-up.

33. Sheet E001 – Add Junction Box to Symbols List.

34. Sheet E403 - Relocate CU-5 to a housekeeping pad on grade near the adjacent to the west exterior wall between column lines 5 and 6.
