Time zone exercises

Background to longitude and time.

The earth spins on its axis once every twenty-four hours and in that time it passes through 360 degrees of longitude.

The earth travels through 15 degrees of longitude every hour.

If you know how many degrees of longitude separate two places you can work out the time difference between the places.

Places west from the starting point are behind in time. Places east are ahead.

If the time is 12 noon in London (0 degrees) what time will it be in:
