automatically being members of PERPAMSI Private water companies have to register for

their memberships in PERPAMSI has 29 local representatives cover 33 provinces playing its role in facilitating partnership to

benefit members

The idea: Well-performed utilities are requested to share their best practices to non-performed utilities

WOP initiative

Develop international and national WOPs: International WOP in collaboration with Waterlinks, ADB, etc.

National WOP (between Indonesian water utilities) facilitated by PERPAMSI itself

International partnerships often come up with some weaknesses: different language, culture, inapplicable knowledge and technology

Develop an Indonesian way of WOP: employing local values, solidarity, self-finance to start

When starting partnership, the goal and target are set based on mutual agreement:- Target of pilot project

Both partners encouraged to continue their solidarity partnership after the program, focusing on the same or other best practices.

Past recipients encouraged to be mentors e.g. assigned to share their knowledge with neighbouring water utilities
