PERPAMSI (Indonesian water supply association)

was established in 1972 Members: 421 water utilities Water utilities owned by local governments are

automatically being members of PERPAMSI Private water companies have to register for

their memberships in PERPAMSI has 29 local representatives cover 33 provinces playing its role in facilitating partnership to

benefit members

Develop international and national WOPs: International WOP in collaboration with Waterlinks, ADB, etc.

National WOP (between Indonesian water utilities) facilitated by PERPAMSI itself

International partnerships often come up with some weaknesses: different language, culture, inapplicable knowledge and technology

Develop an Indonesian way of WOP: employing local values, solidarity, self-finance to start

When starting partnership, the goal and target are set based on mutual agreement:- Target of pilot project

- Target of learning The obligation to submit monthly report to PERPAMSI during the program.
