In late 70’s when the world was getting ready for a fresh era of computer technology, no one had an idea what wonders Apple inc. would have done. In the essential stage Apple had a complicated logo design that required an explanation. For this reason Steve Jobs joined hands with Rob Janoff to come out with a logo design which could actually relate with the brand name.
JOURNEY OF APPLE LOGO DESIGN
This was the first logo created by the third partner of the trio behind Apple inc. “Ron Wayne” . The main drawback in this logo design was the need of explanation as it did not pointed towards the Apple directly. The complication lead Steve Jobs to hunt down to a more promising logo designer.
STAGE ONE
When Steve Jobs joined hands with Rob Janoff, he was amazed to see that how creatively an Apple was actually utilized to promote Apple inc. . I 1976, Rob Janoff created the famous “rainbow Apple” with a bite. The coloured stripes were envisioned to craft a logo design that was more relevant.
STAGE TWO
In the year 1988, when iMac was introduced, the company refrained from rainbow theme. This lead to emergence of monochromatic themes analogous to original logo design. Later the aqua and glass themed came into existence as a representation of the brand.
