Locating Books Using the Research Hub

In this tutorial, you will learn how to find books: By author / title By topic By format
Access the Research Hub by clicking on Academics then Library from the Trine University’s home page.
Bookmark the URL for the LIS homepage http://www.trine.edu/academics/library/index.aspx
Limit the Research Hub search box to Books.Enter your search terms and click Go.
Use index labels to search by title and / or author as illustrated. For best results, enter title in quotes.
Search for a specific book
Note the collection and call number of the item.
Collection Call number
Check Availability
Find print books on the 2nd floor in the University Center’s the LINK, arranged by subject using the Library of Congress Classification System.
If shelved in another location, ask a library staff member for assistance.
To retrieve this book, go to the 2nd floor LINK stacks, PE section
Ask a desk attendant for assistance if unable to find the book.
