Local Boyz is committed to employing only environmentally friendly cleaning solutions. Our dedication to the environment led us to a chemical free process that employs dry vapor steam equipment. To ensure that we were utilizing only the state-of-the-art equipment on the market today LBCC has invested heavily with the leading American manufacturer in the industry.

As a result of being a vapor steam cleaning process we are uniquely qualified to work in environments where chemical allergies, sensitivities, contamination or residues are an issue. This allows us to offer a solution for areas where traditional chemical and detergent cleaning have been off limits in the past…such as food and medical industries.

We work closely with facility management and maintenance professionals to provide a customized cleaning solution that meets their exact needs. At LBCC we schedule an experienced professional to perform a site inspection prior to finalizing the project scope. Once concluded we will review the plan as well as establish key quality indicators with our customer to ensure that we are covering all of their areas of concern. Upon completion of the project we will do a final walk-through audit with a customer representative to ensure that have met or exceeded their expectations.

Redefining – CLEAN!

For many years, sodium hypochlorite, commonly referred to as BLEACH, has been the choice of most that are looking to achieve an absolutely clean and disinfected surface. Studies have allowed scientists to become more aware of the limitations of chemical disinfectants and sanitizers. Recent investigations of biofilms (microbe colonies present on many pieces of food processing equipment or storage units, for example) reveal that 60 minutes of exposure to bleach leaves as many live cells as dead cells in the biofilm matrix. This leads to rapid recolonization of the surface thought to have been absolutely clean!

This, obviously, creates scenarios for many industries that force them to re-evaluate their options when they are looking to achieve a clean and safe environment for their customers. Organizations, specially food handlers, have an obligation to do everything possible to eliminate potential bacterial contamination. So, if bleach, or other chemicals, does not do what we once thought it did…what then? Where do you “go” when the “go to” isn’t good enough?

You turn to science! Antimicrobial Efficacy Studies show that sufficient exposure to heat, as is present in dry steam vapor systems, will infiltrate the biofilm and kill the cells that are unable to be reached by the surface application of bleach or other chemicals. And, with our process we are able to achieve this new level of clean without degrading the surface or contaminating nearby items, such as stored food, while we do it.
