Volunteering
This morning a large group of children from year 6 arrived to school at 8am to volunteer and
help out around the school. Children helped many different teams around the school including
Miss Bal, Mr Semczuk and Mrs Cruz. Volunteering fits in with the theme of morality at LMPS.
Dog Blog
Kenny hasn’t feeling very well this week. Mrs Rai had to take her to the vet who advised she has
a cough. Kenny is at home getting plenty of rest and should feel better very soon. Would you
like to make a get well card for Kenny?

Attendance
Last week, twelve classes’ attendance were below the target set by the Local Authority of 96.4%. Attendance is monitored closely by the school and if your child's attendance falls below 90% and they miss more than three days in any half term for whatever reason, you will be sent a letter and you may be invited to meet with the head teacher. Children with attendance of less than 90% are judged nationally as being a persistent absentee. Over a whole year 90% equals 19 days and almost one month of learning lost. I f your child becomes a persistent absentee your child ’s attendance will be monitored by Ealing Council’s attendance officer.
