T he LMC atelier, equipped with modern machinery and centuries-old hand tools, em-bodies the legacy of the ancienttrade of metalwork at its finest.

Working with such diverse metals as pure iron, steel, aluminum, bronze, copper, and titanium,LMC artisans give our projects a level of refine-ment unmet by any other company.

Next to its hot forging gas and coal furnaces andanvils, the atelier of repousse works — one of thefew still existing in the world — produces the delicate and time-consuming rosettes, water andacanthus leaves that constitute the trademarks ofoutstanding metalwork.

Projects include the restoration of grand land-marks, select commercial projects and intimately-scaled private commissions — stair railings, entrance doors, entrance gates, guard rails, shower doors, and special commissions.

Les Métalliers Champenois is registered as part of the National Apprenticeship Program in accordance with the basic standards of apprenticeship established by the Secretary of Labor. Each year we welcome apprentices from all over the world, including the College of the Building Arts in Charleston, NC.
