I have a big family. I’m married with Doru. He’s a car engineer. I have one son. He’s a student in Bucharest at the Faculty of Geography, Department of Tourism.

I live in Romania, in Focsani, a small town from Vrancea County. Romania is a country located in Southeastern Central Europe, on the Lower Danube, to the north of the Balkan peninsula and on the northwestern coast of the Black Sea.

Vrancea County is located in the southeast Romania, not far from the Eastern Carpathians bend, representing a genuine link between the three historical provinces - Moldova, the Romanian Country and Transilvania.
, Name Vrancea, as attested VARANCHA, is generally explained by specialists by having two different meanings: mountain and also raven.
The legend says that Baba Vrancioaia has sent her seven sons to fight next to the Moldavian ruler Stephen the Great in order to help him in one of the wars led against the Turks. As a reward for the bravery that they have shown in the battle, the voivode (Middle Age ruler) has offered them seven mountains to reign over, with the desire of creating a county that should bear the name “Vrancea County”.

The county residence of the district Vrancea is the town of Focsani. The new coat of arms represents the head of the moldavian aurochs and the eagle of Muntenia, staying together on a shield.
Focşani's location on the Milcov (the river that divided Wallachia and Moldavia) inspired the design of its coat of arms, which depicts the handshake of two women personifying both principalities as a symbol of the union.
The town of Focsani is unique in the history. Until the Unification of the year 1859there were actually two towns of Focsani, one in Moldavia and one in Muntenia.These towns and the two sister countries were divided by the Milcov River.
