Material List: 1/8 yard of fabric Print A (floral print) 1/8 yard of fabric Print B (solid color) Interfacing/Stabilizer 12 white zipper Ribbon for bow Round Velcro Bias - tape for the finished part of the wallet. I

created my own from matching fabric that was 2 by the length I needed I just pressed it in half andthat was my bias.

CUT OUT ALL PIECES ACCORDING TO THE PATTERNS

DO NOT CUT THE CENTER PART OF THE ZIPPERSECTION OUT THAT WILL BE DONE IN A LATER STEP

seam allowance for all I double stitch all my pockets I have numbered each pattern piece for when I

start to describe how to layer to make it easy inassembling the wallet

WALLET CONSTRUCTION1. Be sure to first press the following pieces that you cuton the fold

Pieces 1,2,3,42.Assemble the card section by layering each piece ontop of each other in the order of piece 1 as the firstlayer, then another piece 1 being sure to move it downabout a of an inch (bottoms will also be off of aninch.

3. Now layer piece 2 being the middle layer. You will lineeach of the none presses long sides together.4. Layer piece 3 on top also matching raw edges of thelong sides of the pieces5. Now you will sew down the center of all 4 pieces tocreate the pockets for your cards.6.Your pieces should now look like the photo below infigure 1

7. Set this aside to later assemble it to the bottom ofyour wallet8. To start the zipper pocket section you will place thetwo pattern pieces you cut out with the right sides facingeach other9. Place the pattern on top of the two pieces of material.

10.Now you will draw the zipper placement with a pencil.

11.Once you have it all traced out remove the patternand be sure your have it outlined enough to be able tosee it as you will now sew the two pieces together

around what you just traced.

12.Now that you have sewn around all 4 sides of thezipper traced part you will now cut out the center for thezipper.13.Using a ruler and exacta knife cut the center out. I dothis by measuring in from the short end of the zippersection and mark a dot. Be sure this dot is in the center.Repeat this for the other side.

14.Now you will connect each corner to each dot in thecenter to create a V.

15.You will cut this V to give the pocket ends stability.

Cut from the corners= to the dot for all 4 corners.

16.Now cut on the straight line to the opposite dot.

17.You will now turn this inside out so that the wrongssides are now together and the right sides are facing out.This is done by flipping it through the opening you justcut.

18.Press this with your iron once it is completed turnedinside out.

19.Now you will place the zipper in the opening to seehow much you need to cut of. This will depend on howlong your zipper is. I started with a 12 and cut it to thelength I needed and back stitched the side I cut.

20.So this is were I cheat a little. I placed some heatbond tape that I cut in half on the very edge of myzipper and adhere the zipper with my iron no steam tothe opening. This helps hold the zipper in place while Iam sewing it. This will eliminate needs.

21. I now sew the zipper in place using my zipper foot.

22.Now you will fold the bottom part over a to hideraw edges. Set aside for placement on wallet.

23.Its time to assemble the two top pockets. Layer thepattern pieces 1 & 2 like you did for the credit cardsection. Run a straight stitch along the bottom raw edgesto hold in place.24.You will then create the bias tape piece that you willsew along the raw edge (bias tape piece is piece # 6folded in half then fold each long end into the middle foldin half. There are many videos online to show you how to

make bias tape on you tube). Set aside for placement onwallet.

25.Sandwich the 3 # 5 pattern pieces with both of thewrong sides facing the interfacing. I use spray adhesiveto hold them all together while I am assembling thewallet.

26. I run a straight basting stitch also on each side justso it doesnt shift.27.The first placement will be the zipper pocket. Placethis zipper at the top of the short end.

28.Pin in place and run a basting stitch on both ends29.You will now sew the bottom of the pocket to thewallet inside. This will create the zipper pocket. Sew thetop also with a straight stitch.30.Place the Open two pockets on top of the zipperpocket pieces and sew across with a straight stitch asshown.

31.You should now have two pockets.

32.Now place the credit card section to the lower part ofthe wallet and sew a straight stitch on all 3 side to hold itin place when doing the bias tape part.

33.You now have all your pieces in place and are readyto add the bias tape to the ends.

34.Now you will finish the wallet off with bias tape eitherfrom what you have made or one premade you havebought.

35.Once the bias tape is done your wallet is now done.All you will need to do is adhere circle Velcro closersto each corner.
