What is eDOCS DM 5.2?
What is eDOCS DM 5.2?- The eDOCS DM 5.1.0.5 Service Release 7 (SR7) has been re-
labelled to DM 5.2Why is DM 5.1.0.5 SR7 now called DM 5.2?- The tremendous feedback from Preview customers along with the
considerable enhancements and new functionality has warranted another step forward in the product’s roadmap
- We did not want customers to think it was a minor service release- Proper planning and testing should be done as part of your
upgrade processWhen will it be available?- The DM 5.2 release is scheduled for November 16th, 2007
How do I get access to it?- Similar to previous Service Releases, the DM 5.2 version will be
posted on the Knowledge Center site for download

How do I install it?- The setup program will perform the upgrade to your existing
DM 5.1.0.5 installationsIs this still installable as a service release?- Yes, DM 5.2 can be installed on DM 5105 SR1 or greater- The previous DM Server components will not need to be
uninstalled prior to installing DM 5.2.- DM 5.2 extensions can be upgraded from a previous
version or as a new installation on client workstationsWhat about features from a previous Service Release?- New features and bug fixes from previous service releases
in the DM 5.1.0.5 product line have been rolled up into 5.2

Classification- Rules based classifications allowing administrators to map
