Avondale Offering | June 9: A record response to the Avondale Offering in 2016 saw the Lifestyle Research Centre offer three Pacific Partnership Scholarships. One of the recipients: Dr Alipate Vakamocea, who is now treating the causes not symptoms of chronic disease as director of health and temperance for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Fiji. Power to think and do: it’s a gift from the Creator. Giving to Avondale demonstrates your support for Seventh-day Adventist pioneer Ellen White’s explore-and-engage philosophy (Education, p. 17). Journey with us as we accept the challenge of learning and discovery. And as we use this knowledge to improve lives. Your donation will help our research centers give us a better understanding of Christian education, teaching and learning, health and lifestyle and spirituality and worship. The gift of thinking and doing. Accept it. Use it. Support it. Avondale Offering, June 9. avondale.edu.au/giving. avondale.edu.au/egiving. Donations above $2 are tax deductible in Australia.

Ensure her children have a brighter future: She has overcome incredible hardships to change her life. But Bhagwati, from Nepal, is still terrified of her children becoming stuck in the cycle of poverty without an education. Thousands of other women in need feel the same. Finally...: * If you're headed in the wrong direction, God allows U-turns.
*Come work for the Lord. The work is hard, the hours are long and the pay is low. But the retirement benefits are out of this world.
