SEE YOU AT THE
NOVEMBER MEETING !
BRING SOME FRIENDS !
Established 1967
President’s Message
The Embassy Suites was a good place
to meet but they are having an election
watch party on November 8th so …...
WE WILL BE BACK AT THE CROWNE PLAZA
FOR THE NOVEMBER MEETING !!!!!
The Tailgate was a success again as was the Lobster Boil.
Remember to thank the volunteers who make these great
activities happen ! See the reviews in this newsletter. The
November meeting will feature our annual charity giving to
Camp Pfeifer so remember to bring checkbooks or cash to
participate. This meeting is also election night and we
hope everyone gets out to vote. I have voted early and a lot
of you will too so I hope we have a good turnout at this
meeting. The Caribbean Cruise and Telluride Ski trip are at
or close to full, but if you are interested, please check with
the trip leaders immediately for the availability on either. It
is now less than two months to Christmas and our annual
SnowBall will be here before you know it, so please see
Karen VanBokhoven for tickets. Check the information on
page 6, and remember to get your friends (members or not)
to also get tickets to this fun activity. Remember to keep
former Presidents Pat Walloch and Patti Lucarz in your
thoughts. It was good to see Mike Paulus doing well at the
Lobster Boil. We all morn the passing of our good friend
and long time member Gene Eberle. He will be missed.
Please review all of the details in the rest of the newsletter
and I’ll see you at the November meeting, and remember to
“Think Snow”. Mike Graves, President

Tailgate
Oct.1 9am - 3pm
Review Once again, Larry and Jeanette hosted a LRSC
Tailgate Party for those going to the game and
those who preferred to stay and watch on the
satellite TV that Larry set up. The game start
was early so the food was more of a brunch. We
thank all who attended and to everyone else,
you missed a good time.
A lot of work goes into this and we appreciate
all of those who had a part, especially Larry and
Jeanette !
See You Next Year !
Annual Little Rock Ski Club
LOBSTER BOIL
Review The Lobster Boil is the longest running non ski activity of the Little Rock Ski Club and once again on Saturday Oct. 22, we gathered at Reservoir Park for a fun evening and delicious lobsters. Thanks goes out to Carlyn, Kay, the Mikes and the entire crew for all the hard work it takes to put on this tasty treat. We hope to con- tinue this wonderful tradition for years to come and we will need to have others to step up and help run this great activity, so consider volunteering for this and other club activities. There is a volunteer form on page 10 that you can turn in for your Information. Many of our present leaders have been involved for 10, 20, 30 or more years and could use a little help !
