Brenden, “Brennie”, has been around Little Flowers since it was a ‘seed’. He has seen the church bloom. Brennie has decided to follow his heart to Steinbach. So he is leaving us. :’( Our conversation was about his fears and hopes for his future. Because we will see each other every now and again it feels strange to say
good bye, but he is moving forward.
I asked Brennie how we as a community can support him through this time. He said to just be his friend, not making it the primary focus but dealing with him leaving all at the same time.
Brennie is planning on moving in with his brother and working with adults with developmental disabilities. There is a house church that he hopes to connect with. They
have a neat environmental focus that he is excited about. I know that Brennie is one of my favorite people to talk to about God, so I know he will be loved where ever he goes, and greatly missed. I pray that he will always embrace who god has created him to be.
