PRESS RELEASE

8.09.14

‘LIST’ 3RD TRANSNATIONAL MEETING WAS HELD ON THE 4TH-5TH OF SEPTEMBER 2014 IN

DRAMMEN, NORWAY

‘LIST’ 3rd transnational meeting was held on the 4th-5th of September 2014 in Drammen, Norway.

The meeting was a turning point that indicated launch of the project’s mainstream activity of

developing the training curricula.

The partners from Austria, Greece, Norway, Scotland, and Sweden

attended the meeting. The first day was dedicated to reviewing ICT-

needs of the LIST target group, deliberating on criteria, methods and

tools for curricula, preparing for training the trainers, and conversing

about project's web site. Quality assurance, dissemination and

financial issues were discussed during the second day of the meeting.

“Both finishing the analysis of ICT-needs of the target group and staring to develop the curricula are

two huge tasks that we’ve managed to do during this meeting, so I think it was quite efficient”, - says

Yevgeniya Averhed, the deputy director of Department for International Cooperation of

Folkuniversitetet.

Leveraging the Digital & ICT Competences of senior women to extenuate the knowledge divide (LIST)

is a Grundtvig Multilateral Project, launched on the 1st of November 2013. The project is dedicated

to developing curricula to promote integration of women 55+ into labor market. The aims of ‘LIST’

can be expressed in terms of contribution to the policies of a) Sustaining active citizenship by

avoiding the risk of marginalization of groups affected by the knowledge divide in the digital society,

b) improving tools and methods of adults learning, specifically the field of ICT competences and c)

tackling the intergenerational gap between the “digital natives” and citizens less familiar with

technologies.
