Yamaha Corporation of America, hereafter referred to as Yamaha, warrants to the original consumer of a product included in the categories listed below,that the product will be free of defects in materials and/or workmanship for the periods indicated. This warranty is applicable to all models included inthe following series of products:
PSR SERIES OF PORTATONE ELECTRONIC KEYBOARDS
If during the first 90 days that immediately follows the purchase date, your new Yamaha product covered by this warranty is found to have a defect inmaterial and/or workmanship, Yamaha and/or its authorized representative will repair such defect without charge for parts or labor.
If parts should be required after this 90 day period but within the one year period that immediately follows the purchase date, Yamaha will, subject tothe terms of this warranty, supply these parts without charge. However, charges for labor, and/or any miscellaneous expenses incurred are the consumersresponsibility. Yamaha reserves the right to utilize reconditioned parts in repairing these products and/or to use reconditioned units as warrantyreplacements.
THIS WARRANTY IS THE ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTY WHICH YAMAHA MAKES IN CONNECTION WITH THESE PRODUCTS.ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY APPLICABLE TO THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANT ABILITY ISLIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY. YAMAHA EXCLUDES AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE IN ANYEVENT FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
Some states do not allow limitations that relate to implied warranties and/or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, theselimitations and exclusions may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
CONSUMERS RESPONSIBILITIESIf warranty service should be required, it is necessary that the consumer assume certain responsibilities:
1. Contact the Customer Service Department of the retailer selling the product, or any retail outlet authorized by Yamaha to sell the product for assistance.You may also contact Yamaha directly at the address provided below.
2. Deliver the unit to be serviced under warranty to: the retailer selling the product, an authorized service center, or to Yamaha with an explanation ofthe problem. Please be prepared to provide proof purchase date (sales receipt, credit card copy, etc.) when requesting service and/or parts underwarranty.
3. Shipping and/or insurance costs are the consumers responsibility.* Units shipped for service should be packed securely.
*Repaired units will be returned PREPAID if warranty service is required within the first 90 days.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT ship anything to ANY location without prior authorization. A Return Authorization (RA) will be issued that has atracking number assigned that will expedite the servicing of your unit and provide a tracking system if needed.
4. Your owners manual contains important safety and operating instructions. It is your responsibility to be aware of the contents of this manual and tofollow all safety precautions.
EXCLUSIONSThis warranty does not apply to units whose trade name, trademark, and/or ID numbers have been altered, defaced, exchanged removed, or to failuresand/or damages that may occur as a result of:
1. Neglect, abuse, abnormal strain, modification or exposure to extremes in temperature or humidity.
2. Improper repair or maintenance by any person who is not a service representative of a retail outlet authorized by Yamaha to sell the product, anauthorized service center, or an authorized service representative of Yamaha.
3. This warranty is applicable only to units sold by retailers authorized by Yamaha to sell these products in the U.S.A., the District of Columbia, andPuerto Rico. This warranty is not applicable in other possessions or territories of the U.S.A. or in any other country.

Yamaha Corporation of America (“YAMAHA”) is proud of the experience and craftsmanship that goes into each and every YAMAHA product. YAMAHA sells its products through a network of reputable, specially authorized dealers and is pleased to offer you, the Original Owner, the following Limited Warranty, which applies only to products that have been (1) directly purchased from YAMAHA’s authorized dealers in the fifty states of the USA and District of Columbia (the “Warranted Area) and (2) used exclusively in the Warranted Area. YAMAHA suggests that you read the Limited Warranty thoroughly, and invites you to contact your authorized YAMAHA dealer or YAMAHA Customer Service if you have any questions.
THIS WARRANTY COVERS THE LISTED PRODUCT AGAINST DEFECTS IN MATERIALS OR WORKMANSHIP FOR 1 YEAR.
Coverage: YAMAHA will, at its option, repair or replace the product covered by this warranty if it becomes defective, malfunctions or otherwise fails to conform with this warranty under normal use and service during the term of this warranty, without charge for labor or materials. Repairs may be performed using new or refurbished parts that meet or exceed YAMAHA specifications for new parts. If YAMAHA elects to replace the product, the replacement may be a reconditioned unit. You will be responsible for any initial shipping charges if the product must be shipped for warranty service. However, YAMAHA will pay the return shipping charges to any destination within the USA if the repairs are covered by the warranty. This warranty does not cover (a) damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation or failure to follow instructions according to the Owner’s Manual for this product; repair or attempted repair by anyone other than YAMAHA or an authorized YAMAHA Service Center; (b) any unit which has been altered or on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed; (c) normal wear and any periodic maintenance; (d) deterioration due to perspiration, corrosive atmosphere or other external causes such as extremes in temperature or humidity; (e) damages attributable to power line surge or related electrical abnormalities, lightning damage or acts of God; (f) RFI/EMI (Interference/noise) caused by improper grounding or the improper use of either certified or uncertified equipment, if applicable; or (g) any software distributed by YAMAHA with or without the YAMAHA brand name included with the product covered by this warranty (including, but not limited to software imbedded in the product). Refer to the license agreement accompanying the software for details of your rights with respect to its use or any defects therein. YAMAHA does not warrant that the operation of POCKETRAK will be uninterrupted or error-free. YAMAHA is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to POCKETRAK’s use. Any evidence of alteration, erasing or forgery of proof-of-purchase documents will cause this warranty to be void. This warranty covers only the Original Owner and is not transferable.
In Order to Obtain Warranty Service: Warranty service will only be provided for defective products within the Warranted Area. Contact your local authorized YAMAHA dealer who will advise you of the procedures to be followed. If this is not successful, contact YAMAHA at the address, telephone number or website shown below. YAMAHA may request that you send the defective product to a local authorized YAMAHA Servicer or authorize return of the defective product to YAMAHA for repair. If you are uncertain as to whether a dealer has been authorized by YAMAHA, please contact YAMAHA’s Service Department at the number shown below, or check Yamaha’s website at www.Yamaha.com. Product shipped for service should be packed securely and must be accompanied by a detailed explanation of the problem(s) requiring service, together with the original or a machine reproduction of the bill of sale or other dated, proof-of-purchase document describing the product, as evidence of warranty coverage. If your POCKETRAK is capable of storing software programs, data or other information, you should make periodic backup copies of the information contained in the product’s hard drive or other storage media to protect the contents and as a precaution against possible operational failures. Before you deliver your product for warranty service, it is your responsibility to keep a separate backup copy of the contents, and disable any security passwords. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE CONTENTS OF YOUR HARD DRIVE WILL BE LOST OR REFORMATTTED IN THE COURSE OF WARRANTY SERVICE, AND YAMAHA OR ITS AGENT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF PROGRAMS, DATA OR OTHER INFORMATION CONTAINED ON THE MEDIA OR ANY PART OF THE PRODUCT SERVICED. Your product will be returned to you configured as originally purchased, subject to applicable updates. You will be responsible for reinstalling all other software programs, data and passwords. Recovery and reinstallation of software programs and user data are not covered under this Limited Warranty. Should any product submitted for warranty service be found ineligible, an estimate of repair cost will be furnished and the repair will be accomplished only if requested by you and upon receipt of payment or acceptable arrangement for payment.
Limitation of Implied Warranties and Exclusion of Damages: ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE APPLICABLE PERIOD OF TIME SET FORTH ABOVE. Repairs may be per-formed using new or refurbished parts that meet or exceed YAMAHA speci-fications for new parts. If YAMAHA elects to replace the product, the replace-ment may be a reconditioned unit. Although MODUS digital pianos are nor-mally serviced in the home, you will be responsible for any installation orremoval charges and for any initial shipping charges if the product(s) mustbe shipped for warranty service. However, YAMAHA will pay the return ship-ping charges to any destination within the USA if the repairs are covered bythe warranty. This warranty does not cover (a) damage, deterioration ormalfunction resulting from accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, improperinstallation or operation or failure to follow instructions according to theOwner’s Manual for this product; any shipment of the product (claims mustbe presented to the carrier); repair or attempted repair by anyone other thanYAMAHA or an authorized YAMAHA Service Center; (b) any unit which hasbeen altered or on which the serial number has been defaced, modified orremoved; (c) normal wear, battery replacement and any periodic mainte-nance; (d) deterioration due to perspiration, corrosive atmosphere or otherexternal causes such as extremes in temperature or humidity; (e) damagesattributable to power line surge or related electrical abnormalities, lightningdamage or acts of God; or (f) RFI/EMI (Interference/noise) caused by improp-er grounding or the improper use of either certified or uncertified equipment,if applicable. OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITIES1. Please read the Owner’s Manual completely. The information provided in this manual covers installation, operation, safety precaution and,where applicable, routine maintenance.
2. Should warranty service be required, you willneed to be able to provide reasonable proof of purchase. Please save your sales receipt or othersimilar document. In the case of contractor–installed equipment, a photocopy of the siteacceptance document would be considered acceptable.
3. Notify your Yamaha Pro Audio & Combo Dealerof any alleged defect promptly upon discovery. Ifyour point of concern is not resolved within 30days, contact Yamaha directly.
4. Return the product to an authorized Yamaha Dealer, a designated service center or toYamaha in Buena Park, California. All shipmentsmust be PREPAID. No COLLECT shipments willbe accepted. Products repaired under warranty byYamaha or a designated service center will bereturned to the sender PREPAID.
5. Products returned for service (in or out of warranty) MUST have a Return Authorization. Your local Yamaha Pro Audio & Combo Dealer canassist you if the need should arise. You may alsocontact Yamaha directly.
EXCLUSIONS1. Products sold by retailers or sound contractorsNOT authorized by Yamaha to sell Yamaha ProAudio or Yamaha Digital Musical Instruments products and those products whose trademark,name or identification numbers have been alteredor removed are not covered by this warranty.
2. Products not specifically marketed for installation in areas exposed to the elements (sun,wind, rain, etc.) are not covered for defects that areattributable to this type of installation.
3. Product failures that are the result of abnormal strain, negligence, misuse, improperinstallation or operation, or failure to followinstructions contained in the owner’s manual.Abuse, modification, or accidental damage are not covered by this warranty.
4. RFI/EMI (interference/noise) caused by improper grounding or the improper use of either certified or uncertified equipment is not covered by this warranty.
5. Products that have been, or have attempted tohave been, repaired by anyone other than Yamahaor a party authorized by Yamaha.

Limited Warranty90 DAYS LABOR 1 YEAR PARTS
Yamaha Corporation of America, hereafter referred to as Yamaha, warrants to the original consumer of a product included in the categories listed below, that the product will be free of defects in materials and/or workmanship for the periods indicated. This warranty is applicable to all models included in the following series of products:
DGX, YPG SERIES OF Portable Grand ELECTRONIC KEYBOARDS
If during the first 90 days that immediately follows the purchase date, your new Yamaha product covered by this warranty is found to have a defect in material and/or workmanship, Yamaha and/or its authorized representative will repair such defect without charge for parts or labor.
If parts should be required after this 90 day period but within the one year period that immediately follows the purchase date, Yamaha will, subject to the terms of this warranty, supply these parts without charge. However, charges for labor, and/or any miscellaneous expenses incurred are the consumers responsibility. Yamaha reserves the right to utilize reconditioned parts in repairing these products and/or to use reconditioned units as warranty replacements.
THIS WARRANTY IS THE ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTY WHICH YAMAHA MAKES IN CONNECTION WITH THESE PRODUCTS. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY APPLICABLE TO THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANT ABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY. YAMAHA EXCLUDES AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE IN ANY EVENT FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
Some states do not allow limitations that relate to implied warranties and/or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, these limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
CONSUMERS RESPONSIBILITIESIf warranty service should be required, it is necessary that the consumer assume certain responsibilities:
1. Contact the Customer Service Department of the retailer selling the product, or any retail outlet authorized by Yamaha to sell the product for assistance. You may also contact Yamaha directly at the address provided below.
2. Deliver the unit to be serviced under warranty to: the retailer selling the product, an authorized service center, or to Yamaha with an explanation of the problem. Please be prepared to provide proof purchase date (sales receipt, credit card copy, etc.) when requesting service and/or parts under warranty.
3. Shipping and/or insurance costs are the consumers responsibility.* Units shipped for service should be packed securely.
*Repaired units will be returned PREPAID if warranty service is required within the first 90 days.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT ship anything to ANY location without prior authorization. A Return Authorization (RA) will be issued that has a tracking number assigned that will expedite the servicing of your unit and provide a tracking system if needed.
4. Your owners manual contains important safety and operating instructions. It is your responsibility to be aware of the contents of this manual and to follow all safety precautions.
EXCLUSIONSThis warranty does not apply to units whose trade name, trademark, and/or ID numbers have been altered, defaced, exchanged removed, or to failures and/or damages that may occur as a result of:
1. Neglect, abuse, abnormal strain, modification or exposure to extremes in temperature or humidity.
2. Improper repair or maintenance by any person who is not a service representative of a retail outlet authorized by Yamaha to sell the product, an authorized service center, or an authorized service representative of Yamaha.
3. This warranty is applicable only to units sold by retailers authorized by Yamaha to sell these products in the U.S.A., the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. This warranty is not applicable in other possessions or territories of the U.S.A. or in any other country.

YamahaCorporation of America (“YAMAHA”) is proud of the experience and crafts-manship that goes into each and every YAMAHA product. YAMAHA sells its products through a network of reputable, specially authorized dealers and is pleased to offer you, the Original Owner, the following Limited Warranty,which applies only to products that have been (1) directly purchased fromYAMAHA’s authorized dealers in the fifty states of the USA and District ofColumbia (the “Warranted Area”) and (2) used exclusively in the WarrantedArea. YAMAHA suggests that you read the Limited Warranty thoroughly, andinvites you to contact your authorized YAMAHA dealer or YAMAHACustomer Service if you have any questions.
THIS WARRANTY COVERS CLAVINOVA DIGITAL PIANOS AGAINST DEFECTS IN MATERIALS OR WORKMANSHIP FOR 5 YEARS.
COVERAGE: YAMAHA will, at its option, repair or replace the product coveredby this warranty if it becomes defective, malfunctions or otherwise fails to con-form with this warranty under normal use and service during the term of thiswarranty, without charge for labor or materials. Repairs may be performed usingnew or refurbished parts that meet or exceed YAMAHA specifications for newparts. If YAMAHA elects to replace the product, the replacement may be areconditioned unit. Although Clavinova digital pianos are normally serviced inthe home, you will be responsible for any installation or removal charges andfor any initial shipping charges if the product(s) must be shipped for warrantyservice. However, YAMAHA will pay the return shipping charges to any desti-nation within the USA if the repairs are covered by the warranty. This warrantydoes not cover (a) damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from accident,negligence, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation or failure to followinstructions according to the Owner’s Manual for this product; any shipmentof the product (claims must be presented to the carrier); repair or attemptedrepair by anyone other than YAMAHA or an authorized YAMAHA ServiceCenter; (b) any unit which has been altered or on which the serial number hasbeen defaced, modified or removed; (c) normal wear, battery replacement andany periodic maintenance; (d) deterioration due to perspiration, corrosiveatmosphere or other external causes such as extremes in temperature or humidity;(e) damages attributable to power line surge or related electrical abnormalities,lightning damage or acts of God; or (f ) RFI/EMI (Interference/noise) causedby improper grounding or the improper use of either certified or uncertifiedequipment, if applicable. Any evidence of alteration, erasing or forgery of proof-of-purchase documents will cause this warranty to be void. This warranty coversonly the Original Owner and is not transferable.
IN ORDER TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE: Warranty service willonly be provided for defective products within the Warranted Area. Clavinovapianos require in-home service. Contact your local authorized YAMAHA dealerwho will advise you of the procedures to be followed. If this is not successful,contact YAMAHA at the address, telephone number or website at right.
YAMAHA may request that you send the defective product to a local authorizedYAMAHA Servicer or authorize return of the defective product to YAMAHAfor repair. If you are uncertain as to whether a dealer has been authorized byYAMAHA, please contact YAMAHA’s Service Department at the number shownbelow, or check Yamaha’s website at www.yamaha.com. Product(s) shipped forservice should be packed securely and must be accompanied by a detailedexplanation of the problem(s) requiring service, together with the original or a machine reproduction of the bill of sale or other dated, proof-of-purchasedocument describing the product, as evidence of warranty coverage. Shouldany product submitted for warranty service be found ineligible, an estimate ofrepair cost will be furnished and the repair will be accomplished only if requestedby you and upon receipt of payment or acceptable arrangement for payment.
LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND EXCLUSION OFDAMAGES: ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIESOF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSESHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE APPLICABLE PERIODOF TIME SET FORTH ABOVE. As an expression of confidence in the excellence of the design, materialsand workmanship involved in all the various aspects of bringing YamahaGuitar Products to you, Yamaha Corporation of America (hereinafterreferred to as “Yamaha”) provides the following warranty. Please readthe entire text in order that you may become familiar with its terms. CONDITIONS OF LIMITED WARRANTYIf, during the applicable period from the date of original purchase, your Yamaha Guitar Product is found on authorized inspection to have a defect in material or workmanship, a Yamaha Service Center will repairsuch defect without charge for parts or labor. ROUTINE MAINTE-NANCE WORK AND THE RESULTS OF NORMAL WEAR ARE NOTCOVERED BY THIS WARRANTY.
WARRANTY PERIOD
ONE (1) YEAR PARTS AND LABOR:Tuning hardware, tail piece, bridge, plating, pickguard, vibrato mechanisms, and electronic/electrical components.
LIMITED LIFETIME:Top, neck, back and sides
Yamaha will replace any individual component, that by a competent technical entity is determined to be defective, without charge for parts or labor. Parts replaced under this warranty are warranted for theremainder of the original parts warranty or for 90 days, whichever periodis longer. Yamaha reserves the right to utilize reconditioned parts andsubassemblies as warranty replacements in the repair of the product. Inthe event Yamaha determines that the unit cannot be repaired, Yamahawill replace the defective unit with either the same model product or onethat is reasonably equivalent. Should warranty service be required, yourwarranty periods will be extended by the number of days that elapsebetween the date you report a defect and the date that the unit isrepaired.
THIS WARRANTY IS VALID ONLY WHEN A NEW Yamaha GuitarProduct IS PURCHASED FROM AN AUTHORIZED YAMAHA RETAIL-ER AND IS AVAILABLE TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER ONLY. In the eventany of the provisions of this warranty are found by statute or by applica-ble administrative or judicial entity to be unenforceable, the remainingprovisions shall remain in force.
OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITIESThis warranty does NOT cover expenses incurred due to a lack ofunderstanding of the functioning of the Guitar product when it isoperating as designed. Your retailer is also an excellent source ofinformation and should be contacted when needed for assistanceregarding the proper operation of your Guitar Product. In order forYamaha to provide proper warranty service, it is necessary that thepurchaser of a new Guitar or Percussion Product assume the following responsibilities:
1. Retain proof of purchase documents for the duration of the war-ranty periods. You will be requested by Yamaha to provide proofof purchase in order to receive warranty service.
2. Notify an authorized Guitar Product retailer of any apparentdefects promptly upon their discovery. If your concern has notbeen resolved within 30 days, contact Yamaha directly.
3. Permit a Yamaha Warranty Repair center to provide the applica-ble warranty service during normal business hours.
If you feel a defect exists, contact your Yamaha guitar dealer in your area authorized to sell Yamaha guitars. You may also contactYamaha directly.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT SHIP your guitar to any service centeror to Yamaha without a Return Authorization. Inbound shipping andinsurance charges are your responsibility. No collect shipments willbe accepted. Products repaired under warranty will be returned toyou prepaid and insured for replacement value only. Insurance cov-erage in excess of replacement value will be purchased only ifrequested by you. These costs will be your responsibility and mayalso include COD charges.
EXCLUSIONSThis warranty does not cover the following:1. Failures that are the result of improper operations, maintenance
or repair.2. Failures that result from abnormal strain, neglect, modification,
accidental damage or exposure to extremes in temperature or relative humidity.
3. Products purchased from dealers not authorized by Yamaha tosell Yamaha Guitar Product.
4. Products whose trademark, name, or identification numbershave been altered or removed.Guitars marked “by Yamaha” arenot covered by this warranty.
5. Failures traceable to repairs/modifications performed by any one not authorized by Yamaha to perform such services.
6. Guitars no longer owned by the original purchaser.7. Normal wear including strings, frets, finish, fingerboard,
accidental damage, and abuse.8. Tone. Tone is based on the subjective perception of the listener.
This being the case, it cannot be guaranteed.
Retailers authorized by Yamaha to sell Guitar Products receive salesand service support materials and training that are not readily avail-able to non-authorized retailers. This being the case, your localauthorized retailer is uniquely equipped to respond to any GuitarProduct related need you might have.
