At 36 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After two lumpectomies and a mastectomy, my body was exhaust-

ed. I was physically and emotionally drained. My niece, Amber White, started me on a vitamin program that

I have an older friend that has Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. There are two types - B cell, which is slow grow-

ing and T cell which grows faster. There is treatment for the slower that puts it in remission. But there is no treatment that works well for T cell. Alvin has the T cell. Our daughter Terri was diagnosed with stage 5 cervical cancer. Her annual pap

test was abnormal. Three weeks later the biopsy showed two areas with pre-cancerous cells and one with cancer. The doctor recommended surgery. We established an ag-gressive cancer nutrition regime for her including Shaklee’s weight loss program. Her physician noted an improvement but still wanted Terri to go through surgery as soon as possi-ble. We felt we were making progress and sought a second opinion. The second doctor read the results from the first and made the same conclusion. Neither doctor felt proper nutrition could help. I

On April 2007 I was diagnosed with cervical cancer and was aggressively treated for my dis-

ease. I started chemotherapy, radiation and branchy therapy and had bilateral stints placed in my kidneys. I experienced

every possible side effect the worst being was extreme and uncontrollable pain that was treated with prescribed pain

medication. Once my treatment was over I had believed that I would just get better and stronger. Almost one year lat-

er I was still struggling with pain. Pain that would start the moment I would wake until I would go to bed. I was miss-

ing out on work, unable to go out and do simple things, like go to the mall, do laundry or go food shopping. Visiting and

socializing with family and friends became nearly impossible. In September 2007 I was placed back on prescribed pain

medication and I was extremely upset, this was something that I did not want to start over again. In August 2008 I

joined Shaklee when Vivix was introduced. After hearing and reading about Vivix with my up line, I came to the realiza-

tion the Vivix was my only answer. Within a week my pain had decreased by 75% and within 2 weeks I was almost pain

free. Three months later and I am completely and totally pain free. It is amazing to be able to wake up in the morning

In October, 2006, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I had 2

lumpectomies; went through chemotherapy, Herceptin and radia-

tion; also, had a partial hysterectomy. When I finished the chemo, I restart-

ed my Nutriferon, Vita-Lea, Osteomatrix, and Sustained Release Vita-C, and

6 months prior to my last check up I started on VIVIX. My physician, who is

Head, Surgical Oncology in the Breast department, at Moffitt Cancer Center,

in Tampa, Florida said my blood work and exam were EXCELLENT! I asked

if they were any closer to a cure for breast cancer. The doctor said “No”, but

that a substance has been found to treat the individualized expression of

breast cancer, such as, Herceptin for non-hormonal breast cancer. They

feel it will prevent the re-occurrence of breast cancer and prostate cancer.

Moffitt has just put in for a one-million dollar grant for a clinical trial of this

substance. When I asked “What is the substance”, the doctor said it was

Resveratrol! I said I have been taking Shaklee’s Vivix (Resveratrol) for 6

months; can I be a part of the study? The doctor looked surprised and said

“You’re the first person that we have ever seen that had such great results

with Resveratrol. Since you’ve been on it already, I will request for you be a

patient advocate during the testing”. If the grant is approved I would be

thrilled that I will be helping the Susan B. Komen Foundation in this

study. Once you have experienced breast cancer (a disease that has no

cure, yet), at every checkup, you can’t help but have an underlying

fear. Taking Vivix, Nutriferon and the other supplements take the edge off

knowing that they may prevent the re-occurrence of cancer.

Skin Cancer In October 2007 I was diagnosed

with a Basal Cell Carcinoma (skin cancer) on my

left shin. The Dermatologist cut and scraped it

out and had me come back in 6 months. In July

of 2008 the lesion had not healed and appeared

to be even larger. We scheduled surgery to re-

move the entire lesion including going as deep

as needed. In August I began using VIVIX and 4

weeks later when I went for the surgery the

cancer was essentially gone! My husband Ed

had been diabetic for many years and on insulin

for a number of them. He has struggled for a

long time to get his A1C levels below 7. After 4

weeks on VIVIX his regular check-up indicated

his A1C levels have dropped from 7.2 to 6.6.

On 9-18-08, my PSI was 9.1. In consulting with my

sister, who is a Shaklee distributor, I added the

following Shaklee Supplements to my daily routine of

taking Protein and Vitalizer ~ the Vivix, NutriFeron,

Saw Palmetto, and Immunity formula I to boost up my

immune system. On 9-26-08, the blood tests showed

a drop in my PSA levels to 6.9, which the nurse said

was highly unusual. My PSA scores had dropped

down from a high of 9.2 on September 18th to a low of

3.4 in just 6 weeks! Plus, my free PSA scores of

28.8% are the highest I have ever received since I

started having prostate problems in 2005. As I started

Oncologist From Harvard Test Top Selling Supplements

A young lady I personally met with cancer was recently asked by her oncologist and an intern from

Harvard to bring in ALL her supplements she has been taking .They tested all of them, many different

WELL KNOWN, latest cure all brands, liquid juices, and vitamins. NAMES WE ALL KNOW including Shaklee.

After the results of all the tests came back, they told her to get off everything IMMEDIATELY except Shaklee supplements. All the

supplements tested with the EXCEPTION of Shaklee had contaminants/ heavy metals such as, lead, cadmium, arsenic, etc.

Ironically this lady had attended one of my Shaklee presentations years ago and didn’t believe a word I said about Shaklee being

MAJORLY different from other brands. She didn't believe me when I emphasized the importance of Shaklee's 80,000 tests which are

done on all of Shaklee’s raw materials, and how CRITICAL that testing was because heavy metals and contaminants are COMMON in

other brands.

No other company does anything close to the kind of testing Shaklee does and it’s a HUGE factor in what makes

Shaklee the leader in the industry and the stellar company they are today!! Unfortunately she is pretty typical in that she goes

with the latest and greatest cure all brands and falls for good marketing vs. science and facts. She was emotionally attached to brands

that she took for years that claimed to be organic, cold processed whole food. Plus she went on to add other brands that had GREAT

MARKETING.

People need to be educated on the whole supplement industry. Most people have no idea they're buying a whole lot of un-

knowns that go along for the ride with their nutrients. Twenty five years in this industry has taught me one thing, if Shaklee doesn’t

make it I don’t take it, I don’t suggest it and I don’t give it to my kids and family.

The brands that were tested and found positive for heavy metals and other toxic contaminants are well known companies found at

health food stores, brands only sold through Chiropractors and other BIG brands sold thru network marketing companies.

She was on mangosteen type juice and companies like mangosteen/ liquid supplements. I don't want to specifically point out the

names of the companies, but just think of all the big brands sold in those circles. The ones you hear about when you go to the Chiro-

practor and the ones you hear about in network marketing and health food store brands.

One reason I do not want to put any names out there is this; I’m not trying to attack any particular brand and I want people to realize

that it’s not just these companies. This is not rare; in fact this is VERY typical in this industry. What is not typical is the 80,000 tests

1999 I found out I had lymphatic

cancer, Hodgkin’s Disease to be exact. At the time I knew I was going to have to go through a lot of

garbage and was pretty scared about the whole thing. I had never been much for vitamins but I knew I

didn’t want to leave this fight up to the doctors. I thought it was better to include some natural alter-

natives in my treatment program. My sister-in-law used Shaklee and was able to put me in touch with

a medical practitioner who had experience with this disease and helped design a supplement plan. Surgery was scheduled

for the next week since the tumor was wrapped around my heart. There was no time to really strengthen my body for sur-

gery. However, after surgery, I started taking a plateful of pills several times a day. Yes, I said a plateful. Sometimes it was

a chore just getting them down, but I did it. Then I started chemotherapy. From the beginning, chemotherapy was not the

nightmare everyone had told me it would be. I was rarely nauseous and after an initial minor drop in the results of my

blood test, the numbers actually climbed and maintained themselves at a high level throughout six months of treatment.

My only side effect from chemo, other than hair loss, was joint pain. My oncologist was amazed that my test were so good

To my dear friends, thank you for caring… for your support, love and

prayers. My update as of December 28th. As some of you know, I

had made the decision in incorporate chemotherapy along with my

protocol of Shaklee Supplement and some other natural alternative

nutritional support and treatment from Dr. Alvarez in Mexico. My

lung cancer, which I discovered in Oct. 2005, had suddenly developed into an ag-

gressive type, due to my foot injury and being heavily medicated this past August.

Firstly, I'm doing fine. I had great news today and my second chemo treat-

ment. Last week, when I had my blood work done after my first chemotherapy

treatment, my doctor was concerned, but not surprised that my white blood cell

count had dropped to a very dangerous low of 1.9, due to the chemo drugs, Taxol,

Carboplatin and Avanstin. My red blood cells remained good at 12.7 and platelets

were at 140k. I have been taking NutriFeron, at 10 tablets daily since last Thurs-

day, and today my white count was at an amazing, 10.7, red count at 13.4 (even

better) and platelets at 133k (still good). All of these result in just 6 days. He was

stunned. I took no drugs to raise the white count and I know that the drug of

choice, Nulasta has several bad side effects, which I don't want and if I can raise

the count using Nutriferon, that has NO side effects, it is a better choice. The

proof is in the blood report. My doctor said to continue with what I'm doing with

nutritional support...he was very pleased. Oh yes, if you are having bleeding in-

flamed gums (chemicals causes this and so does a Vita C deficiency) when you

brush your teeth, use our New Concept Organic Dentifrice and a soft tooth brush,

and then rinse your mouth with hydrogen peroxide, swish for 2 minutes till foamy

and then rinse with warm water. Usual results in 24 hours. It has helped me.

KEEPING WHITE BLOOD COUNT UP In march, Mary, age 68, was told she had three to six months to live after enduring seven years of colon cancer treatment. She began a Shaklee regimen including two Nutriferon daily. Three weeks after she began she called me to tell me that her CEA test results (CEA stands for Carcinoem-bryonic Antigen blood test – a test that screens for a protein that indicates the presence of cancer) had gone from 17 down to 11, and she was ecstatic. This was the first time there was a decrease since she had been in treatment. I received Mary’s call while attending a Shaklee gath-ering and it was suggested she might try four to six a day. Is there hope for someone over 450 pounds to lose

weight-naturally? That was my question in May 2007. As a home

health speech language pathologist, I had allowed myself to make all the wrong choices with my health and wellness. Drive thru

restaurants, minimal exercise and mobility, limited quantities of fruits and vegetables contributed daily to my ever-increasing

size. Add extremely high blood pressure and newly acquired and poorly controlled diabetes and I felt as if I was dying; a stroke

candidate in the making. Infertility, which had long been my greatest health concern, was being replaced with much more seri-

ous issues that were all potentially deadly.

However, May 2007 was a major turning point in my life. Friends from our church, Oscar and Reina, were looking thinner,

younger and healthier. When we arrived, minutes apart, at a Chinese restaurant, I invited them to join us so I could learn their

secret! It was the Cinch Inch Loss Plan and they detailed the plan for me. Hope…I could feel it, for the first time in many years.

This plan fit my lifestyle and I wanted to try it, but after I returned from a scheduled trip to visit my grandparents for Mother’s

Day. My grandma had turned 90 in January and my great aunt was turning 98 during our visit. I was looking forward to seeing

them and eating grandma’s famous strawberry pie.

was 98, borderline high-normal, but much better than the previous 200+ range. My body was healing itself. For my follow-up,

I attended my first Shaklee Convention in New Orleans---August 2008. At that point, I had lost 150 pounds and I had a BLAST!

Little did I know that VIVIX would soon play a key role in my journey to wellness. Within weeks of returning to San Anto-

nio, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 endometrial adenocarcinoma (uterine cancer). My husband and I were told that a

hysterectomy was essential. I sought a second opinion at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and began a regimen of 1 tsp.

Vivix twice a day, 5 Nutriferon with each meal, 6 CarotoMax & 6 FlavoMax daily combined with my other supplements, including

Vitalizer. I also requested Megace, a hormone treatment for uterine pre-cancer, that I had been on years prior. I knew full-well

that the main side effect was weight gain, but I wanted to do anything to preserve my fertility. Months passed and there were

many doctor's visits, including a full work-up with a renowned fertility specialist. Primarily due to large fibroid tumors, a hyster-

ectomy was deemed the most appropriate course of action and I was at peace with that.

The week of Thanksgiving, I had a radical hysterectomy (uterus, ovaries & cervix) and I waited 11 days for the pathology report.

To everyone's amazement, there was NO evidence of cancer. My oncologist at MD Anderson deemed it a MIRACLE! My follow

up appointment, December 23rd, was equally as impressive. The doctors could not believe how fast I had recovered and they

said no further interventions would be required.

As of March 2009, I have fully recovered from my surgery and have regained my momentum on my CINCH weight loss program.

I am exercising an hour a day and my husband and I are preparing to adopt from his home country of Honduras. I know that I

will be a healthy and fit mom one day and I am blessed to have such wonderful support and love from my entire Shaklee family.

Ken was diagnosed w/ inoperable lung CA in Oct. 2007. One

tumor is located near the T3 & T4 vertebra. He was having se-

vere pain in his upper back & the only thing that helped was mor-

phine tablets – he needed one tab every 12 hrs. In Dec. 2007 the oncologist recommended chemotherapy

for 6 treatments every 3 weeks. We were told “there is no cure”; the hope was to “buy him some time”.

And hopefully the chemo kills the cancer before it kills you! We know chemo is poison and kills good cells

along with the bad. The formula was aggressive and strong. He got worse with each treatment and it took

longer to recover between treatments. I asked if I could give him vitamins and the doctor said not while he was having

chemo. Ken rarely used Shaklee vitamins. It’s hard for him to swallow pills … ever heard that excuse before? On April 7,

2008 he had his sixth and last treatment. The oncologist told us the further out from the last chemo treatment without the

cancer growing again the better. Again I asked if I could give him vitamins now? He said “give him anything you want”. It

has been 10 months since his last treatment!! I started Ken on (forced fed him!) Cinch meal shakes. He had NO appetite

and was continuing to lose weight. He was very weak & proceeded to lose 10 more pounds! I thought he was dying so I

fed him lots of the Cinch. I also gave him the Vitalizer Gold, Garlic, Alfalfa and Nutriferon. Then we added the Flavomax &

Zinc and finally the Vivix Resveratrol tonic in August 2008. By June 2008 we began to see SLOW improvement – his hair

& appetite started to come back. He takes Shaklee EVERY DAY! We build new cells in our body every day & want them to

be as healthy as possible. The doctors have been monitoring him every 2 months to make sure the cancer is not growing

again. In January 2009 our follow up oncology visit was a good! The doctor said Ken is doing well! He looks great and

feels good. He said come back in 3 months instead of 2! Ken has not needed morphine or any pain pill AT ALL for the last

2 months! I believe VIVIX is helping with that also. He sees 3 Doctors & here are some of their comments about how he

looks now … “you’re doing very well”; “keep doing what you’ve been doing”; “it seems to be working”; “you look better than

you have ever looked – EVER!”; “Oh my GOD! Kenny, you are back from the dead! I’m going to call you Lazarus! You look

GREAT”! There may not be a cure, but we believe that Prayer, Chemo, & Shaklee have restored Kens health for now. We

I spoke with Megan’s dad yesterday and he Told me that it was one year ago to the day, November 29,

2007 that they received the news that Mega, age 7, had brain cancer and her prognosis wasn’t good. So the journey began of poking, prod-ding, chemo therapy, bedside vigils, etc. They were introduced to Shaklee and they started little Megan on Nutriferon and Children’s Vita-Lea. She began to show some improvement. However, Todd told me that the real tipping point came in August with the introduction of VIVIX; they began the daily VIVIX 1 tsp. per day. Megan has shown remarkable progress ever since. The neurosurgeons at the Mayo Clinic told her parents that the type of tumor that Megan has does NOT shrink with chemo treatments. They were in disbelief when Megan’s tumor was almost undetectable. Todd totally attributes her amazing progress to prayers which are so powerful but also to Shaklee’s VIVIX along with the Nutriferon and children’s vitamins. The hope that he and his family have again is beyond words. I still find it very difficult to put what I heard in his voice into words. Todd touched me to the very depth of my being. have been afflicted with breast cancer. While there are

no guarantees, what if VIVIX could do for you what it

did for me? I am a breast cancer survivor now 11 years

out. For the last four years I have had a tumor marker

done during my yearly oncologist visit. The range is

between 0-35 (of course no one has 0). In 2004, it was

around 18. Each year it has slowly ticked up and in

2007 it was up to 20.7 This was a red flag for me alt-

hough my oncologist dismissed it. I started using VIVIX

Eye Cancer

Our son Andrew was diagnosed with a rare form of eye cancer in December 1997.

Our son was 23 years old at the time. Immediately after his condition was confirmed, we changed his

diet to fresh (organic if available) fruits, vegetables, and a full Shaklee program.

Ten days after his diagnosis, he began twenty Alezatos treatments at American Biologics Hospital in

Tijuana, Mexico and he continued with ten booster treatments every six months after the initial twenty.

U.S. eye cancer specialists and eye surgeons, Dr Bodner and Dr Jerry Shields (Shields works out of

Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia) said the only treatment available was Chemotherapy because sur-

gery or radiation of the multiple (about three dozen) tumors in the whites of both eyes and on the eye

lids would cause our son to lose his sight. We decided against chemotherapy.

Prayer, rest, and reduced stress were also part of the treatment, but the latter two were never imple-

mented by our son who was working on his second graduate degree, teaching, and directing a youth

ministry. Andrew has been faithfully following his diet, and taking his Shaklee products over the last two

and one half years. His faithfulness and the many prayers of us and others paid off. On May 11, 2000,

Dr Bodner examined Andrew and said his cancer is in complete remission. His eyesight is 20/15!

It all started in late Sept. 2010 when I was diagnosed with peritoneal cancer

(similar to ovarian cancer). I had already beaten breast cancer twice.

The first time was 18 years ago and then again 9 years ago. So as a pharmacist, I knew I would

have to make some changes if I wanted to have a chance at beating this cancer. My diagnosis was Stage 4 cancer

and I knew I had to significantly change my diet and take supplements to strengthen my immune system. I trusted

God that everything was going to be alright. Before Sept. 2010 I was taking the Vitalizer and Vivix but not on a regu-

lar basis. So now I made some serious changes. I reduced my stress level by doing some deep breathing exercises

and not letting myself get upset, started eating mostly organic vegetables and fruits, and started taking a regimen of

Shaklee vitamins -- Vitalizer, Vivix, Nutriferon, Omegaguard, Vit. C, Vit. E complex, B-complex, Alfalfa complex, CoQ

Max. Within 2 months the swollen lymph gland in my neck went down. In my case my oncologist at MD Anderson

was seeing my great progress and kept telling me to keep doing what I was doing since it was working! Then in Dec.

2010 -- just 3 months and 3 chemo treatments later -- my scans came back with no detectable cancer! I had debulk-

ing surgery in Jan. 2011. They removed the omentum and did a hysterectomy. To my doctor’s amazement only mi-

croscopic cancer cells were detected. Now, after 3 more chemo treatments and only 8 months since my original di-

agnosis, my last three cancer marker tests are normal and all my scans are also normal. With God’s help and

Shaklee’s supplements, I am on the road to recovery and targeting the 5% survival rate! A big thank you goes to
