Therese Was born in Norway, but her international profile, shape by her long term stay in Australia the last 3 years, nurtured Therese’s passion for traveling as well as for design, art, fashion & photography and allowed it to blossom in diverse settings.

Venture NameLibo by Therese is the ventures name. I chose this name because it has a personal meaning to me. Libo is a real place around where I’m from, it’s at mountain in a cove. My mother grew up around there and we used to visit it growing up. It’s really beautiful there and I really love the name. The name doesn’t exist from before and libo.com.au is available to use for a name or libobytherese.com

Venture OverviewThe idea is a wallet/pouch/bag that is fashionable and convenient. It’s made of leather and has a funky inside lining. It has a amazingly good quality and looks good.

Its having a small bag inside your big bag for when you are at uni-versity or work and want to grab some food or a coffee, you just take your little bag with all your valuables instead of dragging your whole massive bag with everything in it. Same for going to the grocery store and just want to leave your big bag back in the car, and you can easy go shopping for whatever you need with everything you need to be organized right there in the bag.

This solves a problem that I have at university these days, I always have to carry around a big bag or backpack full of heavy stuff, and I never want to bring everything with me, so a bag that fits my keys, phone, cards and mon-ey is perfect. All my valuables in one perfect sized bag.

Target audience/marketMain target females between 20-30. These are the women that are most likely to buy this sort of product but it will also target females between 15-45 (whom buy for themself). I will also try to get men to

buy it for their girlfriends or wives as gifts.

The reason they will buy the product because of the classic/ cool and current design. Its fun, convenient and a must have object. The price will be lower compared to a more established brand like Marc Jacobs or Michael Kors.

I know this because of a little research I’ve done for myself, by using Facebook and Instagram as tools. I’ve posted images of prototypes that I have made and gotten a lot of positive feedback and orders in.

ResourcesThe recourses I have now is my mad skills, my brain, the internet, the Apple MacBook, programs as Adobe illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop. Spotlight for supplying me with fabric, zippers, scissors, thread and needles. My apartment building for supplying me with an iron and the ironing board. I have borrowed a sewing machine from a friend (Micaela Adams). The only thing I need now is to figure out how to emboss the leather fabric. Australian post for sending my packages around the world.

I would need financial backing from somewhere because right now everything is coming out of my pocket. I will make some of it back if I try to sell the wallets, but not enough to cover everything.

DevelopmentThe next step would be to find a proper fabric supplier. Who could supply me with different colors of leather and softer leather not only black leather? I would have to find someone else to sew the products for me, because the production of the products can’t continue in my apartment. So maybe also maybe a space to work in. I would have to get financial support from somewhere and maybe a partner or assistant who could take care of all the paperwork that all of this will create.

Norwegian bag brand Libo by Therese is partnering with the Pink Rib-bon Foundation to raise money for breast cancer research. By creating a special limited edition pink lined wallet, for an online auction, where people all over the world can bid for the item. All proceeds will go di-

rectly the Pink Ribbon Foundation for research for breast cancer.

According to the Pink ribbon foundation 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death among women. It is also the most common cancer among women worldwide.

The proceeds we raise will help the path to find a cure for breast cancer and help raise awareness towards early detection.
