Introduction

This section describes shortly the most important new features and

modifications introduced in LIB 530 revision 4.0.4 since LIB 530 revision 4.0.3

and 4.0.3 Add-On 1.

Installation

Double click on the file LIB530_404.EXE and follow the instructions on the

screen.

Hardware and Software Requirements

LIB 530 4.0.4 requires MicroSCADA 8.4.3 or higher. The operating system is

Windows NT 4.0 (MicroSCADA 8.4.3) or Windows 2000 (MicroSCADA

8.4.4). The MS-Base, LIB 500 packages must have been installed previously.

Upgrading from Previous Revisions

No limitations. Package contains all necessary LIB530 files.

MODURES 216/316 Relay Tool V1.1.5

Description

LIB 530 MODURES 216/316 Relay Tool is used for visualizing system and

protection functions of the MODURES 216/316 relay family.

New Features

The following new functions have been added in English language only:

Eberle Relay Tool V1.0.3

Description

LIB 530 Eberle Relay Tools is used for automatic and manual control mode

operation of Eberle REG-D relays. Package was first introduced in LIB530

4.0.3-1 Add-On release.

New Features

Regulation type is selectable: Voltage-, Power- or Reactive power regulation.

Error Corrections

Customer Feedback Creation of MicroSCADA process objects is not working

properly corrected.

Customer Feedback Simulation mode is not working corrected.

Customer Feedback Is not possible to set a negative value in control dialogcorrected

HV Process V1.1.2

Description

LIB 530 HV Process includes standard functions needed for the application

station picture. The HV Process package mainly supports the MODURES

216/316 family, RTU 2xx and SPACOM products.

New Features

No new features compared to MicroSCADA LIB 530 version 4.0.3.

Error Corrections

The problem of installing the picture function CB with Truck with older

version of MicroSCADA was solved.

Disturbance Recorder Collector Tool V1.0.3

Description

LIB 530 DR-Collector Tool is used for automatic and manual transfer of

disturbance records from MODURES 216/316 relays to the hard disk of the

base system computer. The tool shows summaries of records in relay and

records on disk. It allows transfer with/without compression at selectable time

or event sent by the relay, and gives control over deleting records in relays and

on disk. It also provides an interface to WinEve evaluating software.

New Features

No new features compared to MicroSCADA LIB 530 version 4.0.3.

Error Corrections

Customer Feedback Handling of Time Invalid Bit in DRs corrected.

Minor correction: Location of window changed, it covered new ABB logo.

Common V1.1.1

Description

The common part installs together with the packages, mentioned above. It

provides common command procedures, text files and pictures for LIB530.

New Features

According to new Eberle Relay Tool package, the pictures

FORM4CPBI0 and FORM4CPBO0 were adapted.

Error Corrections

No error corrections compared to MicroSCADA LIB530 version 4.0.3.
