The BURGER KING Scholars program assists employees, employees' spouses or domestic partners, employees' children,

CATHOLIC COLLEGE ESSAY CONTEST

The Cardinal Newman Society is pleased to announce its third annual Essay Scholarship Contest! The winner of the
Contest will be awarded $5,000 toward the cost of attending one of the faithful Catholic institutions recommended in
The Newman Guide. Besides, several Catholic colleges have generously volunteered to allocate an additional $5,000

Applicants for the Cooke College Scholarship Program must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Senior standing – Plan to graduate from a U.S. high school in spring 2020.
Fall College Enrollment – Intend to enroll in an accredited four-year college beginning in fall 2020.
GPA – Earn a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.5 or above.

A one-time $500 scholarship will be awarded to graduating seniors that participate in some form of sports their senior
year of high school. These sports include football, basketball, baseball, track, cheer, soccer, volleyball, swim, marching
band, or other activities that LHS designates as athletic. The student must display leadership skills and have been
involved with some community activities such as church attendance, club member, work history, city clean up, etc. The

For the 2020 fall semester, the foundation will award scholarh9ips to active member or dependent of a member residing
within a county served by LCEC; a graduating senior in the current year from and accredited public or private high
school, homeschooled, or have obtained a New Mexico/Texas GED or equivalent within a country served by LCEC

MENSA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

The Mensa Foundation Scholarship Program awards more than $140,000 in assistance every year to college-bound

On November 1st, OSU students may use OSU ScholarDollars to submit an application for the nearly $50 million
in campus-based scholarship funding available for the 2020-2021 academic year. By submitting one application, you will
be considered for over 1,600 OSU scholarship opportunities!
Newly-admitted and continuing OSU students are eligible to apply for scholarships through OSU
ScholarDollars. Students must have been admitted to OSU and have an active ONID account to be able to log into the
system and submit an application.
Submit your OSU ScholarDollars application between November 1, 2019 and February 1, 2020 to maximize the

The scholarship program of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of the Southwest is patterned after the “RMHC
Scholars” program- with one important difference. In order to more, closely align the scholarship program with our local
Chapter’s exclusive focus on children’s health, we have added an additional criteria item, which is as follows:

1. Had a serious childhood illness or injury
2. Had a sibling who had a serious childhood illness or injury which impacted the family.

Merit Scholarships
Merit scholarships are our most commonly awarded scholarships. Undergraduate Admission determines eligibility for
these awards based on high school GPA and test scores, and all students who apply for admission to DU are
automatically considered. Award amounts range from $12,000 to $26,000 annually and are available for up to 12
quarters (excluding summer quarters). Merit scholarship amounts are fixed, meaning, if awarded, you'll receive the

Western Undergraduate Exchange Scholarship
The Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) is an award for qualified new, first-time freshmen and transfer students
pursuing their first bachelor’s degree who meet the specific criteria listed below. WUE students pay 150 percent of
Idaho in-state tuition and fees and are not charged out-of-state tuition. WUE value for the 2019-20 academic year is
$15,084. That’s more than $60,000 in value over the course of four years!
If you are:
A new, first-time freshman admitted to the University of Idaho
Pursuing your first bachelor's degree
A resident of a WUE participating state
Then you are automatically eligible to receive the WUE award when filling out an application for admission.
There is no separate application for the WUE award.
This award will be available to you for a total of four years by maintaining continuous enrollment and a 2.5 cumulative U
of I GPA.
There is no deadline to complete the admission application and be considered for this WUE award.

UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA
The Woods Family Scholars Program
The Wood Family Scholars Program was established by Leonard and Carla Wood in 2014. Mr. Wood, founder of Wood
Partners LLC in Atlanta, wanted to make it financially possible for outstanding students to attend the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill, from which he earned his Master of Business Administration degree. He also wanted to help his
Scholars develop as leaders and discover their path and their purpose, so that they could make the most of their talents
and their lives.
Currently ten new first-year students each year receive the scholarship. These new students join other Wood Scholars in
a close-knit community — one marked by excellence, exploration, and a spirit of mutual camaraderie and support.
1. Scholarship (currently $7,000 per year, renewable for four years)

3. Networking and career workshops;
4. Speaker series with speakers on business, leadership, and career advice – leaders in fields from business to
public service

Based on survey responses indicating interests, all incoming scholars are individually matched with an

Mentors meet with their mentees at least once a month and help to navigate Carolina, serve as a
resource, and provide support in numerous ways.

THE NEW MEXICO COALITION OF EDUCATIONAL LEADERS 2019 SCHOLARSHIP

The New Mexico Coalition of Educational Leaders will award two $3,000 scholarships to New Mexico high school seniors
who will be entering a college or university.
CRITERIA FOR APPLICATION AND SELECTION OF CANDIDATES
1. Candidate must be a graduating senior from any public high school in the state of

2. Candidate must have a GPA of 3.0 or better for consideration.
3. Preference will be given to those entering the field of education. (Teacher, Counselor, School Business Official,
etc.)
4. The Selection Committee will conduct interviews with each of the top five candidates in April.
