Cast paved Hanley streets with gold during Panto launch CAST-MEMBERS of The Regent Theatre pantomime, ‘Dick Whittington’, paved the streets of Hanley with gold, during the show’s official launch .
After co-hosting Signal Radio’s breakfast show, alongside Louise Stones and Andy Cook, Jonathan Wilkes (Dick Whittington), Christian Patterson (Sarah the Cook) and Louise Dearman (Alice) visited the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery.
Naturally, they were invited to look at the Staffordshire Hoard gold collection (as part of the panto’s story features gold-paved city streets).
Said Jonny (a firm panto favourite across the area): “We’ve got some fantastic surprises in store this
year, and we can’t wait until Panto Season arrives and we can get started.
“I would urge everyone to come along and see the show; we have so much fun, making it, and we want as many people as possible to enjoy it.
“Seeing people leave the theatre with huge smiles on their faces at Christmas time
gives us all so much joy.”
Also coming back is First Family Entertainment, which is producing ‘Dick Whittington’.
FFE is no stranger to the Hanley theatre, having presented smash-hit productions of ‘Mother Goose’, ‘Aladdin’, ‘Cinderella’, ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ and ‘Robinson Crusoe and the Caribbean Pirates’.
‘Dick Whittington’ can be enjoyed at The Regent Theatre from Friday, November 28th, 2014, until Sunday, January 4th, 2015.
Tickets are now on sale and are available in person from The Regent Theatre Box Office, by calling 0844 871 7649 or visiting www.atgtickets.com/stoke
