‘Mirror, Mirror on the Wall’, Jonny is back for the best one of all!!THE Regent Theatre’s favourite pantomime star and home-grown talent, Jonathan Wilkes, will return to Stoke-on-Trent in ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ in this year’s festive extravaganza.
The Hanley theatre’s panto has become the must-see Christmas tradition, and ‘Snow White’ promises to be no different, being packed with brilliant slapstick, hilarious comedy, stunning sets and sensational comedy.
For 2013’s show, Jonny will be joined by fellow local favourite, Christian
Patterson, who wowed audiences in last year’s popular, seasonal hit, ‘Cinderella’.
Said Press Officer and spokesman for The Regent, Jon Owen: “We are thrilled, once again, to welcome Jonny back for this year’s panto: he is a local hero, and Christmas wouldn’t be the same here without him.”
Commented First Family Entertainment, producer of former, smash-hit favourites at The Regent, like ‘Aladdin’, ‘Cinderella’ and ‘Dick Whittington’: “Jonny and Christian are the ‘dream team’ of panto;
they never fail to create a slide-splitting show, which is enjoyed by young and old alike.
“We are so thrilled to be bringing them back to Stoke for Christmas; it’s going to be another ‘Christmas cracker’.”
Averred Jonathan Wilkes: “There is no place I would rather be at Christmas than on the stage of The Regent, and there is nobody I would rather be sharing it with than Christian Patterson.
