    SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

    Acrobats must perform one skill from each row. Pair/group and individual skills must be performed in order shown. Connecting steps only required. BALANCE ROUTINE Pair/group skills (1.0 mark) Pairs/groups must select one skill from each row Pair/group skills must be held for 3 second unless otherwise stated. Individual Skills (1.0 mark) Pairs/groups must select one skill from each row Individual skills must be held for 2 seconds unless otherwise stated.     PAIR SKILL (1.0)

    Base lies on back (legs maybe bent). Top does front support on floor with base holding tops ankles. Top then

    does scale. (Hold 3 secs).

    Shoulders over hands. No arch in back.

    Base Hands above chest.

    Toes pointed. Flat lower back.

    INDIVIDUAL SKILL (1.0)

    (Handstand/shaping) Tuck handstand (momentary hold)

    Knees to chest. No pike or arch in body. Body vertical. Head neutral. Toes pointed. Straight arms. Tight tuck with hips under and chest in. Return to feet.

    PAIR SKILL (1.0)

    Top holds scale while holding bases hands or top may place their hands on bases shoulders. Base to have arms straight and up near ears. Base facing away from top in kneeling lunge position. (Hold 3). Positions maybe reversed.

    Base lies on back. Top does front support with feet or ankles on bases hands. Base pops tops feet and re-catches feet. Bases legs maybe straight or bent.

    (Tumbling) Roll from tuck sit into shoulder stand (candlestick) supported on shoulders with arms behind head and toes pointing vertically. Legs and hips straight. Roll to stand.

    Arms behind head. Arms straight. Feet over shoulders. Toes pointed.

    PAIR SKILL (1.0)

    Base kneels on hands and knees. Top steps up to stand on bases lower back. Top then performs a straight jump off to land on floor. Landing direction is optional. Top can assist their landing.

    No pike or arch when standing on bases lower back. No arch or pike in straight jump off. Toes pointed in straight jump. Hips not lower than waist height in jump. Top can touch bases back for support in landing. Base

    PAIR SKILL (1.0) Assisted straight jump or star jump with no release. Jump can be from standing and also from stepping into it.

    Top No pike in body or arch in back in jump. Straight legs in the air. No leg separation in straight jump. Even split in star jump. Minimum split 135o in star jump. No fall against base or squat to deep in landing. Base Timing of jump. Must not be a lift. Show fast dynamic lift.

    Base and middle lie on back on floor. Top does front support with one foot in bases hands and one foot in middles hands. Base and middle pop tops ankles or feet at same time and re-catch feet. Base and middles legs maybe straight or bent.

    (Tumbling) Forward roll to pike handstand (momentary handstand only).

    Base and middle hold one ankle and one hand each to swing top. On second swing the tops feet are released so top lands standing. Hand to hand support is maintained throughout. Bases use hand from foot to assist landing. Tops hips should be at bases head height in dismount.
