Official Letchworth Garden City Street Fest 2011 Programme
Design by Nomad GraphiqueTel: 01462 483898
Hello and welcome to Letchworth Street Fest 2011.
It is with great pride that I am able to, once
again, be in a position to write an
introduction for Street Fest. Street Fest
is a free event and to be able to keep
it that way means finding every
penny to pay for the staging,
performers, programme, marketing
and a hundred other things.
The fact that this has been achieved is
a testament to the commitment of the
team behind the Street Fest and to the
amazing generosity and support of the sponsors. It
is not just monetary support that is important;
Street Fest also relies on the in-kind support from
the legions of community around it.
We have got so many sponsors that deserve a mention that
we have dedicated a half page to saying a big ‘Thank You’,
and ask that you consider them if you are in the market for
things that they may offer. The same goes for the advertisers
in this programme who are all helping make Street Fest a
reality. Please support them by shopping local.
Hopefully the weather will be as amazing as it was last year
and hopefully you will all join us in celebrating the incredible
local talent that will be on show across the town. Street Fest
2011 is bigger and better than last year with
more sites to explore and more artistes on
show. Street Fest is also raising money for
Rotary Clubs, Round Table and Ladies Circle
in Letchworth in association with The Comet
newspaper. Please support this wonderful
charity by buying a raffle ticket or two.
Enjoy your day!
