Lesson 19: With, on, in, from

Today we will learn how to say words like with, on, in and from in Arabic. These words are in the red squares below:

It’s Saturday and Abu Bakr has been really looking forward to this day. Here is why:

1. Abu Bakr loves playing with his lego.

2. He has been looking since the morning, but he cannot find it ?

3. He has looked in his toy box.

4. He has looked on the table. He has looked everywhere!

5. His sister Maryam starts to ask about Abu Bakr.

6. For what reason is Abu Bakr not in his room? ?

7. Maryam decides to help Abu Bakr, “Does your lego look like my lego?”, Maryam asks.

8. “Take an oath, that you didn’t eat your lego for breakfast!”

9. Maryam then realises that they have tried everything

except, trying the easiest thing… asking mum! 10. Indeed, many a toy has been found by asking mum!

11. Abu Bakr and Maryam, run to mum’s bedroom. But she is not there

12. He will have to wait until his mum returns from the shops to ask her where his lego is.
