As part of my duties I maintain generators and service them making sure they have enough diesel to run without loss of power and repairing if needed. Another part of my duties as TLQ manager is to manage waste tanks, reporting directly to the nautical operations manager if we need to order more waste and diesel tanks, part of the report to the NOM is the weight, serial number and test date of the tanks to go on the backload manifest. Also my duties are to look after the communication satellite, fire control systems, internet, heating, air conditioning and any other problems that may arise with the accommodation.

Installation of deep water sea pumps in cable tower. Participating in the making of lift plans and giving tool box talks. Communication with vessels via uhf/vhf radios. As part of the rigging team I also assisted in the pulling of the subsea cable over the quadrants then lowering the quadrants to pull the cable into the platform. Being part of the team I acted as Banksman for the heavy lift operations and part of my daily duties was assisting deck foreman with DPR. I am also height risk confined space trained which enabled me to be part of the emergency response team.
