INTD 341: The Nature of Intelligence

• Team taught interdisciplinary (CS & Philosophy)

• Open to all students (no prerequisites)• Recapitulation of historical development of

AI/Robotics with readings from philosophers and AI researchers

• “Two papers and a robot”– Robot development / testing / exhibition

approximately 1 (of 3) weeks of the course

Robot Assignment

• “Road” following, with mechanism for passing

• Implemented as concurrent behaviors (after reading Brooks)
