Twin Ponds Learn to Skate program offers classes for all ages & ability levels. We base our curriculum on the Ice Skating Institute (ISI) WeSKATE Recreational Ice Skating Program. We have a great professional staff that will teach the fundamentals of ice skating in a fun, safe & structured environment. Whether skaters are here for recreation or have aspirations on becoming competitive figure skaters or hockey players, Twin Ponds has something for everyone!

When a skater learns the skills at one level, they take a test, receive a badge and move up to the next level. Each level is more difficult. Praise every accomplishment & Keep it a positive FUN experience.

What to wear Warm, comfortable clothing with lightweight socks and gloves or mittens. Leggins, sweatpants, sweaters and sweatshirts are good choices. We highly recommend helmets (bike or hockey) for all children under the age of 6.

When you are a member of our skating school you get a lot more than just lessons! * Skate rentals, if needed during your class. * 30 minute warm up before your lesson. * Parents of children 6 & under can join in on the fun too!* 30 minute group FUNtastic instructional lesson.* 30 minute skills practice session after your lesson.* 7 Public Skating passes (valid during your series session).* You are the Host of Bring a Friend Day. * Buy One, Get One Half Price! Bring a Friend Day The last week of every class session is Bring a Friend Day. On this day, each student's friend may skate on the warm up session before class and the skills practice session after class with their host for free!

Private & Semi-Private Lessons These one-on-one, or semi private lessons are very beneficial to the skater who may need a little extra help on skills being taught in class. Also, if the skater has aspirations of becoming a competitive ice skater, or elite hockey player the private lessons will make that possible, Whichever your goal may be, our staff of professional instructors will help you achieve them.
