BY THE NUMBERS COMMUTE LEADERSHIP 2018 STATISTICS 70% of rideshare inquiries produced matches THERESA GIURINTANO, Chair Fourteen years ago the metropolitan planning organizations, transit agencies and chambers of commerce from our region pooled their energies to create the SRTP as a non-profit organization spearheading a mission to decrease traffic congestion and improve air quality. In partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and with the guidance of the Federal Highway Administration great progress has been accomplished in educating regional commuters about the options to single occupancy vehicles. Taking a bus; forming a carpool or vanpool; walking, biking and teleworking have laid the foundation for commuters to enjoy a healthier lifestyle with less stress, while improving their financial outlook and becoming more productive employees. It has been my pleasure to serve as the Chair of this organization for the past four years and I look forward to the sustained achievements of this outstanding program well into the future. 823 Unique Commute PA Reward Sponsors OUR MISSION STATEMENT The Susquehanna Regional Transportation Partnership (SRTP) /Commuter Services of Pennsylvania promotes commuting options that reduce congestion, conserve natural resources and improve safety and mobility at a regional level by educating and implementing innovative Transportation Demand Management (TDM) programs. Commuter Participation by MPO Region MATTHEW BOYER, Executive Director Commuter Services of Pennsylvania, a program of the Susquehanna Regional Transportation Partnership (SRTP) delivers education and outreach resources detailing the non-drive alone transportation options for getting to and from work to more than 1.3 million commuters across 13 counties of Pennsylvania. This professional Transportation Demand Management team engages with more than 450 employer and community entities to provide cost effective green commuting opportunities to employees and commuters. In 2018 we launched the Commute PA rideshare and rewards program that can be accessed by computer or smartphone app. The program allows commuters to easily track their green commutes and select from more than 2,000 reward offers. THERESA GIURINTANO, Chair Fourteen years ago the metropolitan planning organizations, transit agencies

and chambers of commerce from our region pooled their energies to create
