    leaders, are best viewed as collaborators with leaders.

    Followers fall into two groups:

    Independent, critical thinking

    Dependent, uncritical thinking

    Best followers think for themselves and offer constructiveadvice or even creative solution.

    Worst followers need to be told what to do, or even dodgethe responsibility.

    Members of an in-group tend to receivemore information, are shown moreconcern, and may be more dependable

    and more communicative.

    Whereas Members of out-group does not

    show concern towards the organisation,meets minimum goals and never attemptto achieve more.

    Similar to the ideas behind the in-groupsand out-groups, extraversion andintroversion can also play a role in thesuccess of the LMX model.
