Within this project IDC Ltd completed rehabilitation of 28 river crossings, where in total 56,613 m3 of soil were excavated, 33,409 m3 of riprap were arranged, 3,362 m3 of gabions and Reno Mattresses were installed. Total area of the construction works was 26,748 m2.

Also, 4 landslide areas were rehabilitated with total excavation volume of 7,577 m3 and installation of 4,202 m3 of gabions and Reno Mattresses.

AREA 80 PA CONSTRUCTION

FEATURES: Area 80 PA (Permanent Accommodation) represents an infrastructural facility of BTC oil pipeline and SCP gas pipeline, located in Georgia near Vale town. Design / build project of the facility was carried out by IDC Ltd under BP request. SERVICES:

• Earth works, ditch arrangement around the site, area fencing, internal road arrangement, concrete sidewalk arrangement, area landscaping.

• Bedroom facility/connecting hallway and kitchen-dining facility construction (with total area 1020,8 sq.m.). These activities included construction of the foundation, foundation slab, columns, beams and ceiling slab with the r/c structures; also, arrangement of walls and partitions with various materials, their plastering and painting, winterization (warmth-keeping) of the foundation. Arrangement of steel trusses and purlins, roofing of buildings with galvalume-coated metal materials. Buildings were furnished with metal plastic windows, metal doors, iron-framed wooden doors, metal plastic doors and etc. Arrangement of indoor electrical system; outdoor security lighting, water supply, sewer system, heating, ventilation, security CCTV system, fire alarm system.

FEATURES: Detailed technical specific surveys on the various sections of the Georgian Gas Transmission Pipeline SERVICES: Performing reconnaissance works of North-South Gas Main passing through Georgia. Due to planning survey and design work development producing survey and design packages. Survey and design works include four main components: gas pipeline, geotechnical hazards, gas pipeline infrastructure, and environmental protection. Investigation includes: geotechnical Inspection; pipeline corrosion, coating inspection; valves and gas distribution stations technical condition inspection; civil engineering inspection works; environmental baseline, audit and analysis. These studies will be carried out on 74% (a total of 222km) of the pipeline length covering the following sections: Section A – Kazbegi-Pasanauri (72.1 km of length, 1200 mm in dia); Section B – Pasanauri-Saguramo (60.55 km of length, 1200 mm in dia); Section C - Saguramo-Norio (30 km of length, 1000 mm in dia); Section D – Norio-Tsiteli Khidi (59 km of length, 1000 mm in dia); Section E - Saguramo – Tsiteli Khidi (81 km of length, 700/800 mm in dia).

These roads have not had any kind of maintenance for over 10 years, the condition is very poor and in need of reconstruction. SERVICES: Project included road cover design, developing bridges and water pipes rehabilitation project, Environmental Impact Assessment, processing construction organization, preparation of relevant documentation for construction. It has to be noted that there are three landslide hazard segments on Partskhisi-Manglisi segment, for which anti erosion structures – Gabion Retaining walls, Gabion Controls dams and Rip-Rap Channels are arranged.
