Ifanon-rewireable3-pinplugorarewireable13A(BS1363)3-pinplugisused,itmustbefittedwitha5AASTAorBSIapprovedBS1362fuse.Ifanyothertypeofplugisuseditmustbepro-tectedbya5Afuseeitherintheplug,oratthedistributionboard.Ifthistypeofplugbecomesdefective,ensurethatthefuseisremovedbeforedisposal,toeliminatepotentialshockhazard.

If it isnecessarytochangethefuseinthenon-rewireableplug,thecorrecttypeandrating(5AASTAorBSIapprovedBS1362)mustbeusedand the fusecovermustbe refitted. If the fusecoverislostordamaged,theleadandplugmustnotbeuseduntilareplacementisobtained.Re-placementfusecoversshouldbeobtainedfromyourdealer.

ConnecttheBROWNcolouredwiretotheplugterminalmarkedwith theletter“L”orcolouredred.

Innocircumstancemustanyofthewiresbecon-nectedtotheterminalmarkedwiththeletter“E”,earthsymbol“V”,colouredgreen,orgreen&yellow.
