When complete, the it will provide imp roved m ob il ity by almost do ubling the existing roadway capacity. LBJ Express will feature a co mb i nation of four ma in lanes and two to three co nti nuous fr ontag e roads i n eac h dir ec tion, along w ith thr ee mana ged toll lanes in eac h direct ion that w il l us e d ynam ic p ri c ing to keep traf c mo ving a t 50 mph. It i s the rst comprehensive development a greement (CDA) proj ect s i gned in Dallas Co unty . T he joint p rojec t w ith LBJ Infrastr uc ture G roup (L B JI G) w ill leve rag e a $500 million T xDOT inve s tm en t into $3.2 billion to build the 16.5-mile project.
